Look, the dryer does work well. I bought it from Appliances online about 2 years ago now. However, it has needed 2 service calls.
1) drum stopped spinning with really loud sounds (think sand and grit somehow got through and stopped things up, service guy seemed to indicate this is a known issue (the drum seizing)
2) condenser needed replacing as it stopped drying and puling out water. Though this may partly have been due to my poor maintenance and lack of vacuuming the condenser as required.
Third issue that seems to happen (and mine is on the way out) is the lint trap can break but looks like they offer one free replacement
Anyone knows the power cost of this?
Don't know the exact cost, but we run it 1-2 times daily with large loads (family of 5) and doesn't have a noticeable impact on the electric bill (paying $100-150/mo generally)
Nice deal, but can only buy it if you have an existing AfterPay account with higher limit. Initial spend limit on a new account is too low 😢
You can buy some egiftcard and pay part of the bill using Afterpay. The discount code is still valid without any issue.
