Great microphone with many different modes for different uses. Issue with it being huge and heavy, not for people with desktop space issues.

    • What are alternatives please? And do you need to use headphones or can you have speakers (or will it go on loop …)

You'll need headphones, you can't use noise cancellation with USB.
Don't have recommendations for alternatives because I'm happy enough with this mic. I'd probably get a floating mount instead (it's cheaper than buying a new mic).

If you buy from jb hi fi, you can pay via zip for an additional $30 off, bringing this down to $128.

You'd pay $158 using zip pay, redeem $30 rewards and pay off the $128 to your zip pay account before end of month to avoid monthly charge.

Thanks for the tip! Bought one using via Zip!

How do i redeem the $30?

One thing i realised is that my first payment is $40 by the 31 August. So if I dont pay it off in 5 days, I'll get $6 fees.

      Thanks

      edit*

I think i am wrong above. I just checked my app again. I guess it means I have to pay $40 by the end of this month and make it zero to avoid fees.

Please correct me if am wrong.

      *edit -
Figured out how to redeem. It was easy. Just did it from the app! Thanks

      • Looks like you answered your own questions.

I did fail to mention to redeem the $30 reward via the zip app!

Also, the minimum payment is to avoid late fees $5.00. The monthly $6.00 fee will only be waived if you dont have any balance owing.

Is this a lot better than the yeti nano?

just use for zoom and some gaming.

  • How does this compare to the cheap as usb neewer 7000 mic?

I've got one on an arm rig which was super cheap ($46).

Will be using it for work also and I don't have access to obs studio or many settings given the laptop is locked down.. worth it?
