Microsoft Surface Go 2 64GB $604, 128GB $675, 128GB with 4G LTE $921 + Delivery @ Harvey Norman

120
  • Been eyeing out the Surface Go 2.
  • Even cheaper than a few weeks back (although no ozb. post).
  • So thought I'd share the love.

Good deal on the Intel Core M3 model, which is much more powerful than the Intel Gold processor on the non-4G 128GB model and 64GB eMMC model. Also runs cooler and higher clocks.

3 Models available:
64GB @ $604
128GB $675
128GB 4G with core M3 $921

same price than the useless 64gb eMMC version

    • Thinking of getting this version for my kids schooling. Currently got a dell 13.3" 2in1 but broke the screen. These ok for high school use?

    Don't support… Gerry!

yeah usual story. just price match elsewhere

Keep raising the awareness! There's always someone who asks why as they're not aware of how dodgy HN is and how taxpayers are funding his stable/yatch

    Not a cent for Gerry.

  • Go 3 and Pro 8 coming soon? Hoping for a bundle in time for christmas…

  • I would never buy Surface again. The battery failed just after 2 years and Microsoft advised that the whole Unit needed to be replaced at a cost of almost a new Surface !!!! I have many laptops siting in dust but still working for 4, 5 years without much problems.

    • Each to their own experience. I've had two replacements for surface pro 6, and well within three years. Warranty only two years. But they replaced anyway after expired. Was dealing with their online chat. Was overall quite pleasant and quick.
Sorry to hear your undesired experience.

2 replacements in 3 years…that’s a undesirable experience IMO. I’m still using my MBA from 2014 and haven’t need it to be replaced.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

        • Agree. The customer service may be great but the product doesn't seem to be.
I still have my MBP from 2010 and works flawlessly for homeschooling purposes.

        • minor issue. first time playing valorant on it kept causing it to freeze. tried a reformat. tried a long memory test - got stuck at 80 ish %.. I thought this was the issue. got the replacement surface pro 6, and it didn't even pass the deep memory test test either. needs to run for a week or so…bad implementation of memory test. Turns out valorant at the time was crap and causing many pc's to freeze.

2nd time, is the refurb they sent me, had a weird bright patch of backlight on the screen. only there if you look for it. the swapped it out regardless. only noticed after using for a few months.

  • $597 for 64Gb version on Microsoft site

    • Pentium Gold 64gb (eMMC) is garbage.

      • I think it's 64gb SSD

Edit: anyway - just saying it's cheaper elsewhere, I'm not making a recommendation to buy it or not.

        • +1

All good just wanted to let all know, I'm certain the 64gb is eMMC

  • I purchased the M3 version about a month ago and put W11 beta channel on it.

I use it for just web browsing on the couch etc and it's very capable and no issues with speed
