  • Any feedback on these?

    • I've been looking at these, but reviews on Amazon don't seem great

      • lol was enough to put me off from purchasing

  • Surprised to see all the negative reviews on Amazon. These sound identical to the official Xbox Microsoft recently released so the sound is good but you will need to turn the bass up slightly using the EQ within the Razer app on Xbox. It's also one of the few headsets that actually uses the console's built-in wireless connectivity which means you don't have to deal with USB adapters and they turn off/on with the console.

  • I can't comment on this model, but Razer seem to have a pattern of heavily discounting their headphones not that long after release.

I bought the Razer Kraken X two or three years ago, and the sound was great.

It was great for solo play, but pretty annoying for multiplayer.

The main problem was with feedback from the headphones to the microphone (the microphone picked up noise from the headphones and showed it on screen that I was talking when I was just listening).

I had to turn the volume right down, and the microphone was very picky how it was positioned (it had to be positioned in a certain way so that it would work properly, any changes to the position on the flexible microphone extension would ruin it).

Pity that such a great sounding headphone was ruined by a poorly designed microphone (it was 7.1 channel and sounded great especially with Dolby on).

P.s I can't remember if microphone sensitivity was adjustable or nor, or whether it was even a feature, either way that wasn't a solution either.

Long story short (too late) I'd definitely consider the reviews before buying.
