        Yes

Note that you can trade in for the EPP/EDU store but sometime the bonus value you can get won't be the same as the normal store.

For the fold 3, I got $100 bonus but the normal store is $500

  • Gumtree and FB marketplace are flooded with devices. I just picked up a S21 ultra, for $1200 with receipt and box packed. Keep an eye out (i do have an education account)

For the record, even with the Ed store discounts, I think these prices are still too high for these devices. I have a S21+ and love it, but I definitely wouldn't pay over $1000 for one, even for an Ultra. I was lucky enough to get mine during the big trade up discounts earlier this year for well under $1000. The S20FE is great value on the Ed store at the moment and unless I specifically wanted the extra features of the Ultra (slightly bigger battery, s-pen support, extra camera, higher res screen etc) it's hard to beat, especially considering all models, even the 4G, have the SD865 processor these days. You can get one for $627 or less at the moment. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/647238

      • what would you say is a good price for each of the s21 range at this stage? i managed to scored a s21 128gb brand new for my girlfriend last week for $770 and now i want one for myself, cant seem to find a bargain again yet tho.

        • Yeah that's not a bad price. Personally I probably would have gone for the S20FE for that money, though, since it has a bigger battery and that's important to me, but not to everyone. But it's definitely a decent price. S21 $500-600. S21+ $700-800. Ultra $1000. Those would be my go to prices, but I suspect they're unlikely to get that low again. That's why the S20FE offers better value at the moment, in my opinion.

        • where did you get the S21 for $770?

theres nothing quite like the headaches of dealing on fb marketplace and gumtree tho.

  • Picked up a standard base S21 with 128gb for $650ish.

    • where from matey

      • Standard online samsung store. $500 trade in bonus + $250 worth of vouchers that s t a c k e d .

        • looks like i missed out that chance no? trade in bonus is down to 200 now.

          • @PuntyBrah: Yup. It will come around again if you wait.

@Duckie2hh: I wouldn't count on it. I don't think it's ever happened before this year, and it got pretty badly used and abused with people not returning their trade in devices due to perceived loopholes in the Ts&Cs. Also the two vouchers were not meant to be stackable, so I doubt Samsung will make that mistake again.

We might get the $400 or $500 trade in bonus again, but I can't see it being stackable with the $200 chat vouchers again.

Before the $500 + $200 + $50 + trade in stackable deal, the Ed store had a $300 trade in bonus deal which was stackable with the $50 newsletter voucher. On top of that they had discounted the silver S21+ 256gb to $1149. That reduced it to a really competitive price. That could happen again. But I can't see the crazy $1000 discounts and people getting Ultras for $400 ever happening again.

  • Damn I just check the Samsung website, they don't have the discount on the S21 series anymore. I got the S21 for $499. How?

    Samsung had the S21 128GB $1099 (from $1249)
    - Got -$110 for my S10 128GB trade in
    - -$200 bonus credit
    - -$100 coupon from chat (instead of the $50 sign up credit)
    Total paid: $689

    Here's the catch:
    - I didn't return my S10: Samsung charged me +$110
    - I sold my S10 privately for +$300

    So: $689 + $110 (-$300) = $499
