  • looks good.
I couldn't find any reviews online. I want to buy for my mum but need to make sure that it a good quality one.

Looks realy nice but to be honest i'd rather get a sharp or panasonic for quality n reliability.. My sharp microwave is lasting more then 3yrs now ($180 negotiated @ good guys, was $200-220) and my parents own a sharp too and its still good more then 10yrs already..

    • do you which sharp model did you get?

I wouldnt touch Panasonic - they are very very low quality these days - the push button to open the door breaks and is expensive to fix.

      I like this Breville's pull open door…

      • I recently bought a brand new Panasonic Stainless Steel Inverter Microwave NN-T774SF waiting for the house to be finished renovating, so I did not have it out of the box for a few months. When I finally took it out, set it up in the new kitchen. I was AMAZED it looked it it worked, BUT did not heat up food at all, and shut itself off and restarted when it appeared to be working! Horrible! So I went back to harvey norman for exchange, the second one became faulty just like the first one out of the box after a week! So, in the end I gave up with the 'better' inverter Panasonic microwaves and went for the approximately 10 y.o panasonic I still had from my old kitchen that was still working after all of these years. =|

    • Another vote for Sharp microwaves.
I got a Sharp Carousel that's used like a slave daily, and hasnt missed a beat in nearly 10 years.
      Awesome microwaves.

  • my panasonic microwave has lasted around 20 years.

    • Believe it or not I have had a Mitsubishi microwave which is still going strong after 18 years… don't think I have seen them in shops though…shame it does not have wheels, otherwise I would register it and commute around too! :P

pretty good deal for a stainless steel microwave

Don't be silly. It just has a few stainless steel decorations.

  • Didn't target have a similar sale for 110 something few weeks ago?

    • yup its Breville BMO300 selling at Target, RRP$229 so it was 50% off too. but this one has stainless steel interior :)

My Missus would love our 20+ year old Sharp Carousel to die, and buy something flash looking, but i am not willing to replace the most reliable appliance i have ever owned, until it dies a natural death.

    • just saw your comment, i've agreed with you above :).

  • It's sad looking at the lifespan of modern appliances. My girlfriends mother has a giant behemoth National that just refuses to die. It must be 30 years old at this point, and is still going strong.

  • I swear time slows down when I use the microwave. 900 watts isn't enough.
