Need 2TB M.2 SSD Recommendations

Hello,

I want to buy a 2Tb m.2 because that's all the room left in my computer so I just want to get a good one and forget about it.

what is a good one to get in terms of price and speed. The budget is around 300$, less the better.

i have seen few deals like the Kingston NV1 and so on but from what I hear they don't seem to have dram and stuff, so just want to get advice from the ozbargain experts

  Is the m.2 slot SATA or NVMe?

    not sure, says 2 x Lightning M.2 slots (Gen4 x4)

    Its the Msi x570 carbon wifi board

      MSI X570 supports M.2 PCIe NVMe Gen4 x4. For a 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe Gen4 x4 with DRAM you're looking at around $500-$700.

      A Gen3 x4 2TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD with DRAM is $400.

      A Gen3 x4 2TB Kingston NV1 M.2 NVMe SSD without DRAM is $269.

        Could possibly be cheaper and add redundancy if you buy 2 x 1TB M.2 SSDs if you have 2 slots.

  i have a sn850 1tb and its great just runs hot when doing file transfers.
