Elbaite is a peer-to-peer non-custodial crypto exchange.

Why customers trade with Elbaite:
- They are looking for extra security as Elbaite do not hold customer's crypto at any stage of a transaction. Sellers sends crypto directly to the buyer's wallet address. This alleviates risks of crypto held within hackable exchanges.
- Customer seeking full control and freedom over their crypto and where to store it.
- Elbaite acts as an escrow. This means that bank details of buyers are not shared to the seller, increasing safety.

Note: While our usual fees of 1% may seem slightly higher than other crypto exchanges, it is important to note that we do not charge other fees such as deposit fees and withdrawal fees that many exchanges charge!

Title and post I suspect may have errors.

What is said by your title and post is:
Selling crypto - free on an unlimited number of $20 transactions
Buying crypto - free on 3 $20 transactions

If this isn't right, please fix your post & title. Note especially the word ALL in your title.

    • Hi, thanks for your advice. What is meant is:

      • Discount savings will be capped at $20 per transaction: This means that there will be no fees for transactions up to $2000 (Since Elbaite's fees are 1%)
      • Also, Elbaite charges no fees for sellers in general!

Post and title has been fixed :)

  • Binance cost of BTC ~$64k AUD

your site has it at ~66k aud

    no fees you say

I suppose you can buy like 20 dollar worth of it at a time but you will need to do this like 32000 times for one bitcoin compare to only 0.1% fee on binance ?

It is OzB. 32,000x is an easy day.

    • 2k difference in ETH also compared to Swyftx.
Any OzBargainers using this exchange and can vouch for it's value? I'm with Swyftx and can see nothing on this site to make me switch or add another exchange account.

    • Hi,
On Elbaite, there is usually a 1% fee for buyers. Sellers sell for free.

We are a peer-to-peer non-custodial crypto exchange - This means that our sellers set the prices they would like to sell at, hence the higher price. There is absolutely no other fees charged by Elbaite.

If you are wondering why customers would buy/sell with us, is it because:
      - They are looking for extra security as Elbaite do not hold customer's crypto at any stage of a transaction. Sellers sends crypto directly to the buyer's wallet address. This alleviates risks of crypto held within hackable exchanges.
      - Customer seeking full control and freedom over their crypto and where to store it.
      - Elbaite acts as an escrow. This means that bank details of buyers are not shared to the seller, increasing safety.

Hope this helps explain the price difference! :)

      • Thanks for the explanation.

So does that mean that if a seller is not fast enough then we could potentially buy these examples at $2k lower? Or do they have the right to pull out of a transaction if it doesn't suit them?

Anyway, good luck with your business, a locally run exchange can only be a good thing, good to see some innovation and hitting a particular niche.

        • Hi,
Sellers do have the power to pull out of a transaction.

I suggest when you look at Elbaite's marketplace for offers, the average time a seller usually sends the crypto can be a factor to take into account!

      • I think this explanation should be in the description as it's a different business model to most centralised exchanges.

        • Thanks for the advice! Will do.

  • Offer expired? I want to buy ADA what to use?

    • FTX, Binance, SwyftX, Independent Reserve

      All good
