No aptX, for those who care.

  • how hard are these to pair with a laptop?

    • No more difficult than any other bluetooth headphone. They all act pretty similar.

    • Shouldn't be difficult at all, same as pairing with any other device.

  • No reviews yet?

Relatively new release it seems, several reviews for its successor, very similar product.

  • wondering how it would rank vs Soundpeats.

  • These are good sounding. However I had v1 and the cloth protection on the ear bud tip would fall off within 2 months. No water proofing after that. I prefer the samsung buds compared to that. They may be more expensive but they last longer. The protection on the buds is metal.

  • The V2 are brilliant. The mics are surprising good especially for that design (without the mic extension part). Battery is amazing. V2 is better than the soundpeats 3SE and even the H1 (both I have) for sound and microphone quality. Pretty close to the Edifier Neobuds Pro. Having bluetooth connection issues with the Neobuds at the moment. Can suddenly get very crackly. Definitely better mic quality than the Samsung buds which I returned.

Hopefully they don't screw up the V3 with the upgrades (a bit like what Jabra did with the 75t). Would suggest to wait for some reviews first…

  • I bought some earbuds from Creative last year and was expecting free shipping (it was stated on their site), however they stung me for postage as they deemed my postcode to be rural. I explained via their online chat that I very much live within the Melbourne metro area (10 minutes from Eastland, close to several suburban train stations) but they wouldn't budge. Something to keep in mind.

I wish I could tell you about the actual product but I can't get them to reliably connect to my Nokia phone so they've been unused for about a year :-(

  • I have the version1. I would love to get the version3. Creative usually never disappoints. Such a competitive price for buds that also included active noise cancellation.

  • I received mine today. They seem to work quite well. Plenty of bass.

    • How's the ANC?

      • +1

ANC is not very strong, but these are the first buds I have tried with that feature.

My thoughts on them so far:

The seal is good, isolating even without noise reduction, although I can hear myself more.
Buds are comfortable and fit in my ears quite well, they should stay in place exercising.
Ambient mode may be useful, can definitely hear more when it is on
Music is clear, bass is quite heavy though but perhaps this is accentuated with the strong seal.

Case is huge, buds are upside down (180 degrees in case to how you need them in your ears) which is a bit clunky (the case is probably more than twice the size of soundpeats air2 which easily fit in a pocket, 1.5x the size of the galaxy buds case)
The case is not a good design, IMO. There is an excess of wasted space and weight to give a slide out design with angled presentation. Ugh - to me this approach is one of the worst ways to hold/charge the buds. At least the magnets hold the buds in place well, sliding mechanism works, leds for each bud and the case.
I wish they could just make it simpler, let go of the stupid sliding design, the sharp edges and come up with something alot smaller.
        Case wireless charging works

Touch controls are not as good as the soundpeats. Not as many functions and the touch panels do not seem as responsive.
Range around the house is much better than the soundpeats air2

I tried a few test calls, other party can hear me ok, not amazing, but not bad either.

Voice message when you put them in to tell you it is connected is annoying for me anyhow, but each time L-R just out of sync enough to be even worse and grating (but this only happens for this first message, every time I put them in).
Voice messages for active noise reduction/ambient mode/off L-R is in sync, but just annoying because I do not want to hear it.

      • So I am trying to catch up on some assessments I need to do over the weekend and I have a neighbor outside heavily using their leaf blower.
ANC seems to be quite helpful here.
A bit like closing another front door, I can still hear it but it is less intrusive.
        Bluetooth range is outstanding.
