Amazon trying to price match Woolworths.

NOTE AMAZON IS ONLY DISCOUNTING THE 70%, 70% Smooth Blend, 78%, 85%, 95%
IF YOU WANT ANY OTHER FLAVOUR BUY FROM WOOLWORTHS IN STORE OR ONLINE DIRECTLY FOR $2.25

I don't have prime so not really a good deal for me, but if you got prime and like one of these then, you can buy it.

I think the minimum is 3 per order, (at least for non prime members)

But otherwise I absolutely Love 95% dark chocolate. You can buy your choice of chocolate.

  • I'm still waiting for Lindt to introduce 99.9% dark chocolate, I'm not talking about the 99%.

Sir. I feel oddly offended by your profile. Is there enough room for two of us?

      • +1

Two profiles enter - one profile leaves.

      • Well, you did join ozbargain first…😅

    • There is a 100%

  • +1

Thanks! I bought a couple of 70% ones

Been a while since I've had any of this, but I dislike ordering small amounts from Amazon.

    • +2

      So does Jeff.

    • MOQ of 3 here is too much quantity if anything

Shame about the 90% not being on sale. The difference between 90 and 95% is pretty big in terms of texture. 90% is definitely the sweet spot, so to speak. 85% is actually a bit sickly once you have become accustomed to the even darker ones.

    • +1

      I agree, I prefer the 90% too.

Also the 95% is only 80 grams whereas the others are 100g.

      • +1

        Its 2.25 now

  • My preference is the 64% I get from South Melbourne market to make my chocolate mousse.

Why don't you label the deal as @woolies and mention Amazon as second option? Price Match is not a deal.
Just buy it from Woolies. Heads up additional delays expected from auspost

      Lmao relax

Wait until the Nation opens up and Covid runs wild, the ant-vaxxers will be needing everything delivered…

      • -2

Don't the anti-vaxxers believe covid is a conspiracy anyway?

        • -2

Unfortunately, for them, Covid doesn’t care what people believe. It is like jumping off a cliff because you don’t think gravity exists. If you look at the US they have plenty of vaccines and the hospital systems are beginning to fill up.

          • @try2bhelpful: Correct, the USA is only 70% or less vaccinated too. Naturally as a variant like Delta gets going, the unvaccinated are exposed. 30%+ is a lot of people in the USA.

"Auspost" pretty sure Amazon fulfills their own shipping.

Good deal for us who want to stay home and already have prime

      • +1

Not sure if Amazon uses their own couriers outside the capital cities

      • Amazon in Sydney have lagged behind their usual schedule.

      • My kindle got delivered recently by auspost in Metro Melbourne and was delayed by over a week.

I have already mentioned it is same price as Woolworths, in the description, And that they have all flavours at 2.25 unlike Amazon.
Its simply a matter on what your preference is, and if you have Amazon prime or not.

If you got prime, and wanting one of the titled flavours then buy from Amazon, with gift cards, and or using cashback.
And if not having prime or wanting some other flavours than the titled one's then buy from Woolworths.

    • Price matching refers to finding a cheaper price and then asking for it to be matched (eg at Bunnings, officeworks, etc), which is why it is mentioned along with in store negotiation in the wiki. This isn't a situation like that.

    • +2

      I agree with the sentiment.
So many deals from local businesses get shadowed just because Amazon does a lazy job and price matches it.

Don't get me wrong, we are all here for bargains, but in this case Woolies should be the main deal; they have more items in range in the first place.

  • +2

Almost read it as 70% off.

  • Thanks! I love the 95%

  • +1

Seems weird to me that you would look for a 78% option… or the fact this is even catered for.

It just seems a very specific percentage as if someone thought 'if only it was a couple of percentage points either way then I would enjoy it more…

Good on them for providing that option as obviously there must be a market for it

My palate is not that sophisticated. IMO the higher the percentage the better…

  • 90 % now same price as others, $2.25, probably amazon didnt meet their expected sales target. (Good job people!!)
