  • 6% cashback only for $25, $50 and $100 gift cards, the rest are still 3% only

    • That is pathetic. Managing crumbs left over on 100 cards in a busy service station environment is super annoying. Can't understand why they aren't all at 6 percent

Why not buy fuel at a preset amount of dollars? Much easier to know how much is left to spend.

  • Yeah I had the issue of the attendant saying she couldn't do split payment so was stuck paying with cash. And last time the woollies discount didn't work as the attendant struggled with the machine. Always queues on cheap Tuesday in the west as well so hard to argue

    • +1

I am also in the West, it's much easier to argue when there is a queue behind you: it's not your problem to sort out the partial payment, it's theirs to move the queue along, they issue the giftcard, they must know about this.

  • Am…pol. Darn.

The regular rate of Ampol is 5% on Suncorp Rewards, with the choice of $50, $100, $500
Better than SB's regular rate and it's instant discounted gift card.
You don't need to worry about waiting for cashback and no need to wait for it reaches $10

    • How do you get Suncorp rewards for free?

      • Open a free bank account.

  • Is there a way to combine GC into one?

I feel bad telling them to do 10cents.

Ampol is at least 20% more expensive for me than 7/11 price lock.

  • +1

Just checked the NSW fuelwatch app for 98 in my area. Ampol are 36 cents per litre more expensive than the local independant. That's a lot more than 6%!

do you know if it is possible to stack with the 5c/L NRMA discount ? Then that would get very interesting.

I think I saw another post that mentioned this was possible.

I will never buy another ampol card. What a pain. Always overpriced compared to others

I have filled up and gone in to pay. Oh sorry it's not working at the moment.. never had a problem with the Woolies ones.

    • Same exp. I just bought $25 with $2 bonus. The cards from SB seem to be behind sale schedule with expiry in June 2024. It is technically against NSW laws for being less than 3 years. I can imagine that SB may have to push hard to sell them in future.

Having read the bad reviews, don't think I'll bite. Seems like more pain than it's worth
