Every time I spend over $30 in my local Woolies (which is a Metro) they give me a reciept for a free coffee. Supposedly it was a "limited time offer" and the receipts expire at the end of each quarter but they've kept it going all year so far. It's nice, every time I go to woolies I grab the free coffee from last time.
Not bad coffee too, they came up with a new blend that's not rubbish. I wish they'd tie it to the reward card like Coles though, pain to always remember to take the receipt.
Opt in for ereceipts, then you should see the receipt and barcode in the reward app.
Your e-receipts show up on the Rewards app as long you have remembered to scan your rewards card (which you should be doing anyway).
You don't need to turn off paper receipts (although you should for the sake of the environment).
It's really good coffee too for the price. Inbetween instant and proper barista made coffee.
