Deal ends tomorrow. The best robot vacuum on the market, better than roborock S7 and other more expensive competitors because it has 4000PA suction, the S7 only has 2700! Great deal, ends tomorrow. Only downside is that it doesn't automatically dump for you.

Xiaomi has interests in both Dreame and Roborock. I even think the Dreame has the same processor as the S7, but not too sure on that. After getting annoyed at the expensive $1200 pricetag of the S7, I snapped up this Dreame. What a surprise that it's actually better in every way except mopping then the new S7.

  • How's the mop?

    • True - it's a static mop. The s7 is probably better in that department but the mop is still quite impressive.

      • I have a Braava 380T. Would this beat it?

        • That's a robot mop, this one is a robot vacuum with a mopping feature. The braava will beat any robot vacuum with mopping, even the S7, because it is a dedicated device.

  • Is Dreame and Roborock from the same company?

  • 4000pa, never saw this before. Seems insane.

      And loud.

"The best robot vacuum on the market" but no dumping station and "s7 is probably better".

  • This link Can NOT delivery to Australia but the pricing seems quite a bit different? Does that mean we should start to see the units locally start to drop as well soon?
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002364587295.html

Eg, the Current price is around US$352 on that link but seems to have a "SuperDeal starting in about 1 hour" take takes it down to US$308… as mentioned they will not ship to Australia but that works out to be between AU$475 - AU$415 that seems like a big price difference from $699 and $899 RRP locally for some reason?

    • Same sort of thing with the Roborock s7: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002171726075.html

Good luck getting it here to AUS. Australia tax in its full effect

S7 appears to be on sale from Bang Good: https://www.banggood.com/Roborock-S7-Robot-Vacuum-Cleaner-wi…

@natcoso9955 I ordered one on the day you posted the link and received it today. Set it up and all working fine, a big upgraded from the first Roborock (Gen 2) that we are using for the last 3 years at least.

I must say the waiting period was a torture 😂 as after they said it is shipped on the 7th there was no updates until the 21th when it arrives at Sydney. Got it delivered for $815.14 including insurance - worth the wait.

Next is to get the dust station to pair with it.

Big thanks to you mate :)

  • Seem's it's $699 on Ebay as well? Is this really a good price or just standard pricing for this unit?

With code Afterpay10 you can get $10 off (nothing great but takes it down to $689)

    • Retailer is Numi, they are doing a 30% off fathers day sale ending today. Numi is the official retailer of Dreame: https://www.numi.com.au/

      • Thanks for that, do you know if they have the white version on sale as well can't seem to find it on Amazon but noticed on Aliexpress?

        • +1

Unfortunately doesn't look like they have it in AUS.

  • could someone please help to point out why this device is not a good idea
and neither is the other one from Aldi's "Ecovacs Deebot OZMO 920 Robot Vacuum Cleaner"

    I'm preparing the counter argument for a friend… .

      it sucks

    • these are good all robo vacs are not prefect the s5max,s6 and s7 have alot of issues lol but people think they are perfect but realize after 1 month of use.

The vacuum wars review on the S7 says despite the suction being reduced on the unit compared to earlier models, the redesigned intake and brush has it outperforming the higher suction models.

  • Hey guys!

Thanks for the support. The special 30% off deal will end tomorrow and we only have a few left.

    • Fantastic deal. Reason I posted the Amazon link is that shipping is much quicker - says it will arrive Saturday (hopefully earlier? My Order ID ends in 066 [winkface] ;)) Whereas Aus post at the moment is chockers - 2-3 weeks to get a reg post parcel!

      • +1

Hey zsik3115, it should be the same as Amazon also uses Auspost as one of its main couriers. Fingers crossed everyone receives their order this week!

        • I got my L10 from Numi in less than a week, arrived today.

          • @ripprind: not connecting with the Xiaomi Home app though.

I was looking at this one and compared with the Viomi Alpha S9 over the weekend, then found out that there is a Dreame Z10 Pro as well as a Viomi Alpha 2 Pro/Plus currently only sold on China.

The Z10 Pro essentially is the L10 Pro with the dust station, however unlike Roborock S7, Z10 and L10 don't share the same design, means L10 will not work with the dust station. If dust station is a must you might want to wait for a bit longer but it probably will be a few
    hundreds more.

My main concern for this L10 Pro is the operating time, which says up to 150 minutes (presumably this is with the lowest suction)

I currently own a second gen (S2?), Generally it takes 2 hours and a bit to clean the whole house, which includes some carpet area (high power), and some time wasted on stubbornly trying to get on a thick rug. 😂

With so many more sensors and cameras, as well as higher suction power I was afraid that it will require more than one charge to finish the whole house and therefore shorten the battery life.

    • Personally I don't see the battery life as an issue, it cleaned my house yesterday > 50m² in 90minutes (I have a lot of obstacles and small rooms in an old house)
Can't remember how much charge was left but it seems to charge itself rather quickly. And if I move to a bigger place and even if it did need to charge mid clean I wouldn't care. In three years time perhaps it needs to charge 2 time for a full clean -so what - its all automatic.

A bigger issue for me in a large house would be having to empty the bin mid way through the clean.
I think the emptying station is a must for hands off experience in a large house.
I needed to empty the bin mid way through the clean even though I had vacumed the house two days prior. (we have kelpie)

btw, the deal is still going

  • Noticed this deal on Amazon but no idea if this unit is any good but does come with an Auto-Empty Station:

ECOVACS DEEBOT N8+ 3-in-1 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, with dTOF Laser Detection, 2.5L Auto-Empty Station, bacterial removal ,2300Pa Suction Power,Multi-floor Mapping, Virtual Boundary,Carpet Detection with LocalWarranty and Customer Service
    $799

  • Can someone who owns a Dreame Bot L10 Pro please confirm the physical height of the vaccuum? I know the quoted height is 9.68 cm, but we have found some companies quote higher. For example the Roomba E5 quotes 9.2 cm when in fact is only 7cm high.
Want to know if it will fit under our beds to clean cause the gap is 8 cm.
    Thanks in advance.
