Hi, please bear in mind that the image with the flags for the countries with unlimited minutes is not accurate. Some of those countries were removed a while ago from unlimited calls.

  • Got any prepaid monthly Sim we can use to sim hop? Like Vodafone etc?

    • +1

Use Kogan $4.90 for a Month like 40 GB internet.

      • What network is Kogan with these days?

        • +1

          Kogan uses Voda..

  • +2

Do you have the rough expiry date for the SIMs?

    • Good question. OP, kindly update post with expiry dates as lots of us will have same question about this deal.

    • +1

Expiry date of these sim card is Oct 2022 . Thanks

Hopefully Melbourne will be easing lockdown restrictions by then…

  • Any deal for current customers or do we need to port out and port in to use this..

    • Buy one if these, chat with boost and tell them it was a gift from someone. They will add the credit to your current plan. I've done that twice.

      • +1

tried that before they said no which i was not impressed with.

        • Port-out & in is way easy.. Ported out in 5 mins month ago & today ported in to boost in 10 mins. do it from website.. instead of long call wait.

  • How does this deal compare to this Vodaphone one?

Boost upside is Telstra 4G Network & International calls. Go for Vodafone if you want 5G.

Plus 3600 mins of standard calls to the following 30 destinations: Afghanistan

    Good deal for the Taliban…

    • @JV.. Taliban ?? Now I have to call the CIA :-))

  • How does Boost compare with Moose in anyone's opinion?

  • +1

Any issues with porting from Telstra directly to Boost?

    • If you are currently with telstra, you need to contact Boost customer service then they will instruct you how to transfer. Thanks

  • When does the SIM need to be activated by?

    • For the $200 sim card with 100GB date, need to activate from 6 July 2021 to 27 September 2021.
      Thanks

      • Hi @enjoyebuy i just want to clarify if the $200 sim card with 100gb data needs to be activated by 27 September 2021? Its very short time frame. Thanks

      • What happens if you activate after 27 September 2021?
In Coles the $200 Boost sim just says 100gb and doesn't say anything about an activation period. So you would think that the $200 sim =100gb??

  • Hi does this include to mobile and landline?

"Plus 3600 mins of standard calls to the following 30 destinations: Afghanistan, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, UAE."

do you offer any deals on this optus plan

    https://www.optus.com.au/shop/prepaid/sim-card/180-sim

  • Hey I am a currently a boost customer, does the $300 sim work for existing customers? if so do I need to do anything

    • only for new customers.. you need to port out & later join as new customer.

      • so when I port out, is there anything else I need to do?

        • Once port out, you can come back as new boost customer and use this starter kits.

  • Hi would this work porting from Mates (NBN) mobile? I believe they use telstra but not the same coverage. Also, this is 12 month expiry for both right?

    • OP answered my q via text - thanks OP. All good to port over and 12 month expiry. Purchased two SIM cards.

  • Keep in mind that to get that 100GB for 12 months you will need to activate the simcard by 27th September.

    • Boost has changed the terms. You do Not have to activate $200 sim cards before 27th September to get 100gb data. Thanks

      • Hmmm… Still says 27th September on Boost website, can you please confirm?

  • Damn the $232.70 price is only for eBay plus members, otherwise you need to use code PSPR20 for $240.

    • Has the MMS issue been resolved?

    • If you have any questions about these Boost sim cards, please TEXT me on 0413505707 (no call please). I will respond asap. Thanks May

      • Excellent deal.

Just wondering is there any way to use this like a recharge code or basically renew an existing plan for existing users or do you have to port in and port out to take advantage of this deal as an existing BOOST Mobile user?

I am not ready to port in and port out to save $70 with the risk of losing my number and even 24 hours of downtime is detrimental to me so if it requires any sort of downtime for an existing user then I cannot take advantage of this deal.

So what is your response May?

        • Yes you can use it as a recharge. You need to contact BOOST via chat and they will transfer you over to the new sim card.

        • +1

If you’re lucky, You may try recharging it via Boost Chat. Remember, they can always say NO & in that scenario you have to port out&in as you already purchased starter kit.

On top of that, some chat agent also warn not to do so, you may risk losing your own number and activate new number.

    • Waiting for boost to support esim

      • and 5G

        • Meh about 5G but Apple Watch support would get me across in a heartbeat.

          • +1

@Maximum64: Esim is the first step. Supporting apple watch is possible when they support number sharing. Which is the next step

    • +1

If I have an existing Boost 12 month service on one of these kits, is there any way to take advantage of the starter kit pricing again, while using the same number?

      • +1

Try calling Boost customer and provide the sim serial number, they can help you get around.

      • +2

I usually get one of the cheap sim card e.g. Kogan. So you just need to port to Kogan, then port back to Boost using the starter kit.

        • +1

you need to wait 30 days between ports though don't you?

    • When does it need to be activated by?

      • SIM validity you may get till July-2022 or further…. but To avail current data offer

All data offers valid for new customers only who activate or first recharge by 29 Nov 2021.

      • The expried data of sim card is Oct 2022.
For the 260GB data of $300 sim card, All data offers valid for new customers only who activate or first recharge by 29 Nov 2021.

Good deal if you want to call overseas (well most of the countries now have good internet coverage for a decent whatsapp call)

For 5G internet and Australia wide calls, SMS and MMS - Optus $150/100GB is a better deal

      • Optus prepaid doesn’t have 5G yet (only postpaid)? I know Vodafone prepaid does so $250 pack (on sale @ $150) would be the right choice.

        • It no where says that it's not a 5G service.
In important info section Optus says "Coverage availability will vary depending on your device and location. Check coverage at optus.com.au/coverage based on your address and device."

          • @amaneight: On Optus postpaid page it says 5G access. Also confirmed with rep. I've tested with iphone 12 as well in CBD and no 5G at all with their prepaid 365-day pack.

  • very good value (Boost Mobile)
