Bought it for 699 about 10 days back and felt it was overpriced

paid $639 for a Sapphire pulse 6600XT and felt like i was paying way too much

      • -1

I didn't even buy it because it looked a rip-off…

  • +2

one of the better models for rdna2 gpus

  • +7

I brought mine at launch for $550.

    • +3

      Where did you take it?

      • +2

Brought it home from the shops I'd imagine

PC Case Gear have been steadily jacking up their prices with each passing day. Nearly $800 for a card that should be $450. Crazy.

    • +6

Keep HOLDing guys, these damn retailers will start to drop the price, once they realised they can't move their stock.

I'm not giving my hard earn cash to these scum bag retailers.

every deal posted here ending up sold out, retailer don't care

      • I just brought 10… :|

    • +8

PCCG have also been steadily jacking up the processing time too.

Retail is $589 for the 6600xt. Yes it's overpriced considering it's a bit of a dud product, but considering it's a month after launch even in good years we wouldn't pay below MSRP.

  • +12

I watched then slowly Jack the price from 729, to 749, now to 779….

  • +1

Nah I think overpriced. I bought the Msi Mech x2 a few weeks ago for $680… that was a decent deal in the current climate. And it's good card. Think this is too much. I'd hold out if you have the option to.

That's a no from me dawg

  • i thought those cards dont mine as well? demand shouldn't be out striping supply. so what's with the price jacking?

    • +4

They are as fast as a RXT3060/2080/1080ti

    • +5

and in terms of price/performance, they are still the best, even at Jacked price..

      • +4

its SAD… it had an ok price at launch.. VS others

      • Actually at this price they are coming even with 6700xt

    • It's probably because there is no other choice out there if you want a GPU under $1k that's reliably in stock and can play latest releases smoothly.

  • Probably be $800 next week.

    • it was raised to $849 lol

    get (profanity) real

  • +3

    I think this is expensive.

Paid $629 for my Radeon Pulse 6600XT on launch, I was looking to pay ~$600 for a new GPU anyways.

I pulled the trigger because, I was going from a 4 year old 1050ti which would not even run a lot of newer games at 60 fps on low.

Whether it's worth it really depends on your use case, if you don't NEED it then why bother? I expect that all GPUs will continue to be sold out as the prices start to move towards MSRP as everyone who has been holding out will be trying to pick one up.

If you're really going to be waiting for the prices to be AT MSRP, obtaining one is going to the be the difficulty.

It's because they are decent on mining and not a bad gaming card for around $700-750. 32 mhs on 70 watts which is on par with the 1660 super but smokes the super on gaming. Im actually surprised they're still under $800 while mining profits are pumping like right now.

  • Thanks for all the comments people. It's a bit of a mixed bag regarding the card itself but one thing standing out is its probably too expensive at the moment. Cheapest I can really find though in the current climate. Decisions decisions lol

    • if you have to get a card now for personal use… get the red devil for 20 more and much better quality…

  • Now 949 lol.
