Not sure if better or worse, but the HOC6 is cheaper atm? Though appears to support less weight (350lbs on the HOC5 300lbx on the HOC6)

    • Tbh, this one looks nicer IMO.

Might I interest you in some uranium diamonds? It's not all about looking nice. I assume, you are not buying it just to look at it.

What I would like to know though is, what is the quality of materials?

How many USB ports does this come with?

    • No RGB no deal?

  • So the website says that the current price is AU$261.64, which it claims is the "Lowest price in 183 days".

The thing is, I bought one two days ago for AU$259.59, which makes their pricing look a little sketchy.

(And no, I can't review it - it hasn't arrived yet.).

I think this might be to do with exchange rate changes and possibly the 'lowest price' claim is based on USD, but should probably be hidden when AUD is selected.

Got one earlier into the year.

    Pros:
    * Its a good chair for the price.
    * Much more comfortable than my (regrettably purchased) "gaming" chairs of the past especially.
    * Backrest can be lifted for tallish people.

    Cons:
    * My headrest never stays up, I had to put a screw through it to keep to the highest level since I'm 6'4".
    * Backrest connection to base feels pretty janky. A lot of movement in all directions and the metal bracket will probably twist over time, don't buy this is you're over 6' and weigh a fair bit or top heavy and plan to lean back on it cause it wont last as long as you want it to otherwise.

Did you correctly insert the rectangular piece with notches when assembling the headrest?

A few have missed that step as it's not mentioned in the instructions.

    • Someone said after a few years, the mesh will become saggy. Is yours still solid?

Just ordered the HOC6 version for AUD 194. Apparently the same code with '6' in the end can be used for that model.

Link to HOC6 if anyone want: https://m.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-HOC6-Office-Chair-Mesh-M…

  • No rgb on the chair no deal

Hi just wondering how is it working for people over 190cm with 100kg weight? still stable? Have trouble with finding a proper chair so long… Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks a lot.

    • I'm 188cm and 115kg, the the chair is rock solid. Have used it daily for a couple of months now and zero complaints. I love the seat cushion, really supportive and moulds to the body well. No issues with the headrest or back support as mentioned in other comments in this thread.

  • Lack of warranty information (apart from the 30days) is a concern for me. Given you can spend not much more for an ergo office chair with 10 year warranty.

  • How’s these compared to markus?

I bought this chair in the most recent deal.

    Pros:
-Looks great for the price. Good build quality, heavy and solid.
-Seat base is very thick and firm, but still comfortable. I work 8+ hours a day in it and my back issues are gone after ditching my old chair.
-Lots of adjustability options for the price.
-The mesh back is comfy and supportive.
-Fairly straightforward to assemble. I only used the online video.

    Cons:
-Seat fabric catches a lot of dust, I find I'm constantly wiping it off, but I'm also a stickler for a clean desk space
-The seat base is shorter than I'm used to. But you can slide the seat pretty far forward, which helps, but I'd still rather a longer seat base. I'm 185cm fwiw.
-The arm rests have a ridiculous contoured shape to them that force your arms to rest on an angle. They should just be flat! I spent an additional $35 to get some comfy armrest covers. The covers are like resting my arms on butter now, it's great, just wish I didn't have to do that.

Overall happy with the purchase atvthat price.

    • Hi there, may I please know where you bought the armrest covers :-)?

Aloudy Ergonomic Momery Foam Chair Armrest Pad

        From Amazon.

  • I've commented on my experience with this chair before, but thought it worth repeating.

I'm really pleased with it. About 30 mins to assemble, and no missing/broken/leftover parts.

I'm 6'2" and 115kg and it's the ideal size for me. The best part in my opinion is the seat cushion, lots of padding. Summer might mean I'm sweating like Mel Gibson at a Bar Mitzvah, but time will tell.

The lumbar support has good adjustment, and overall it feels solid and durable. It's been a Dunkirk for my back - saved just in time!

  • Would this chair fit a WFH set up for somebody who is 6'4 95kg?

  • I looked into this deal and finally bought the HOC6 version at a cheaper price, which is like the HOC5 version but comes with an extra retractable footrest (can be hidden). As as most people suggested, the chair seems solid and durable. I particularly like its adjustable armrest, really easy to adjust.

The lumbar support though, whilst adjustable, doesn't have enough support that I wanted, so it's a bit disappointing, but I think for most people that don't have the high expectation that I have, it does the job.

The one thing I would really be criticizing are the wheels. They aren't as smooth as I expected on hardwood floors and I feel that they would be damaging my floors after certain usage, so I bought another set of caster wheels for the chair, which works much better!!

And just a side note, for some reasons, I can't adjust the height of my chair easily, but it may just be a WD40 thing. The back and forward tilt is also quite limiting (if you want to lock it, it'd has to be at a ~100 degree angle), but since I don't need the adjust these things that often, I won't really complain.

Overall, not the best buy, but given its price, I don't think I can ask for more.
