$1599 for a used phone, days before 13 release, each to their own, I’d be waiting for a better deal

“Like new” warranty meaning you’ll probably fight tooth and nail to get any support

      • na last time i went to apple they just took my arm and leg…i mean i only have 1 kidney left, why not

iPhone 13 announcement on Tuesday. These will drop further, esp since used ones.

  • Was 2199? The RRP for a brand new phone with full warranty from Apple is 2219.

    • I was going to ask this exact question - was it $2199 for the refurbished one or brand new? Because it's not that much cheaper than RRP for a new one (which I suspect would be dropping any time now).

  • Not worth.
Can’t get myself to trust this phone is still stock condition.

Not a deal by almost every measure

Risk is high, do not buy

    “Like new”

Nice wording for a used phone lol

  • Is this a deal or a steal? As in are the phones actually stolen?

Have never understood the desire to spend more than $1k on a phone. Especially 2nd hand. If my 2nd hand iPhone 8 ever dies, I’ll be buying the base model IPhone SE (preferably used). I use an iPhone solely so I can use the Apple Watch. Phones have lost their appeal in my opinion. I use my watch when I’m out and about, and my tablet when I’m at home. Phone gets almost no use.

Wonder how it got 10 upvotes. A used phone with new phone around the corner.

    • I would say the new iPhone with 512gb is going to be a lot more than $1599

      • True, but the real comparison is to other used iPhone 12 Pro's with 512gb of storage.

According to gumtree this morning, the price isn't totally off the mark given it has some warranty from the reseller, but like others have said, I'd wait a few days as prices will likely fall especially since the kind of people who buy a 512gb iPhone Pro in 512gb are probably the kind who are willing to spend more and upgrade/etc (pure speculation by me).

I don't recommend purchasing from Phonebot - my attempt to claim on warranty was a hellish process.
