 - That's a good question!
 - which everyone on Windows should be using. - To do what? - Everything! - Work, meeting minutes, notes, shopping lists, to-do list, reminders, scribbles, snippets, brainstorms/shower thoughts, personal pinterest board, even non-sensitive account names/passwords if you dare, you name it… - I use notepad for most of that haha - @onetwothreefour: Now imagine Notepad with multiple tab categories/folders for different things and able to input rich text, images and handwriting.

 - That's not an IDE

 - I googled it to save the suffering of my fellow members…. - An integrated development environment (IDE) is software for building applications that combines common developer tools into a single graphical user interface (GUI).
 - I moved to SATA and M.2 drives ages ago. - ahahahah - my first reaction too, until I read the poll options.

 - I prefer SCSI! IDE is good but I can get super high speed spin speeds from my SCSI drives! - hahahahahhaha…. - Last time I coded anything, I used Dreamweaver. Not sure if that is showing my age, or how long its been since I coded any websites.
Haven't done any form of dev for yearssssssssssssssssss…………….
 - Codeblocks.
 - Notepad and Cheat Engine. - Notepad++ for the few times I need to work in hex in a file, as opposed to memory. - Manufacturer's IDE if programing hardware, but my last few hardware projects have had scrips (pihole) or firmware flashes (routers)
 - PHPStorm.
 - What language and OS and program are you wanting to program? - You forgot a bunch of ones that are NOT in the top 20 code editor pages.
 - +1 for MS word print it out highlight think about it for bug finding and deep thinking of solution.
 - PowerShell IDE or Sapien PowerShell Studio, depending on whether I'm doing text-based or the lazy GUI way
 - What about the good old days of:
 - pen and paper
 - black boards
 - whiteboards
 - butchers paper
 - oh, and turning your calculator upside down to see rude words?!?! :) - 58008 - hehehehe 58008… hehehehe jiggles
and the variation with the number 3… :)

 - Half of the poll options aren't even IDEs - What do you mean? Isn't everyone coding on notepad?

 - Right tool for the right job. - I use VS Code, Keil or IAR depending on what I'm trying to do.
 - /me highfive another person that voted for Vim. - Same interface and keybinding on my Windows 10 desktop, on my Linux servers and on my DD-WRT router.
 - Excel. - vlookup
- Pivot table

 - The jetbrains one
 - Codespaces
 - Butterflies
 - IDE IDE.
 - Scusi is gone, and I do no longer get my cash at the Asyncrounos Transfer Monster.
My phone has Near Field Comms!!

How do you never run out of questions? Maybe I should post that…
