Looks like a decent deal. Usually priced at about $60. For $45 could be worth a shot if you're in the market for a smartwatch but not keen on breaking the bank.

I’ve had one for a around 2 months, can say it’s great value. Very basic but that’s all I need. Battery life with heavy usage, I get 5-7 days. Low usage around 8-10 days. Fits well and looks good.

    • What's the software like on the watch? Is it kinda janky or is it actually well designed?

      • +2

It works well enough, it’s smooth and the app works well too. At the end of the day you can’t compare a $45 watch to a $450 one, I had an Apple watch prior and hated it due to the poor battery life.

    • The watch looks huge or is that just the images?

      • Just images but would suit a male (thicker) wrist than someone with very small wrists

      • 4.55 x 4.55 x 1.11 cm;

        Yes it’s huge

    • I got this and threw out the charging cable and have not been able to find a replacement :(

    • So would be fine for an oldie that doesn't use too many smart devices?

      • Why but a kinda smart watch then? Just buy a regular watch

        • HR monitor would be good for him. And can see how often(or little) he steps.

More meant doesn’t care about notifications or other apps wise

@Lolitsjoel: Heart monitor won’t be that accurate so not even worth it. Their phone already tracks steps.
Notifications only and not even the actual messages. If any of this is of value, an actual smart watch might be better right?

            • @onlinepred: It shows you the actual message content of an SMS. You have to make sure you give the app permission to read your SMS though.

              • @Mr Fusi0n: All apps though? Like Messenger, Instagram, gmail, photos, etc etc?

      • Yes it’s fine, easy to use, has heart rate monitor, a couple other handy things and looks nice.

Good watch, get basic notifications from apps (fb, Whatsapp) that only tells you that you got a message and not the content of it, good enough if you have your phone eternally silent like me.

The sleep tracker is trash though. Logs me as sleeping even though I'm just lying in bed on my phone.

      My Garmin does that too.

      • It's been a few years since I've worn it but IIRC the Xiaomis one was pretty good at sleep tracking.

        • My Mi Bands have always been more accurate than my wife's Fitbit, particularly for sleeping

  • Between this watch and this one. Which is better?
