        It depends on who fulfilled it. Warehouse ones come in a box. My Harry Potter one came in a box since it’s a new release. If the tracking isn’t 44PDJ, then it’ll be coming from a store where yeah, unfortunately, it won’t end well

    I get it, sort of, but surely the concept of advent calendars is gone now, with these (and others with gin, beers, cheese, wine, etc).

    Imagine a child's expectations when they are getting Lego every day for a month leading up to Christmas Day.

      they are tiny individual lego kits with only a couple of pieces each to build something.
      My kids have done it the last couple of years and enjoy the process/mini build every morning

        I'm not doubting that children enjoy it at all; quite the opposite.
        I imagine the children enjoy this every day, and the number of pieces grows by the day, and then they get to Christmas Day and they may be either spoilt with extravagant gifts (and may forget about the lego), or receive Christmas gifts that leave them underwhelmed.

        To me, all of these higher-cost Advent Calendars seem excessive.

          24 days, divided by 40 bucks.
          $1.67 for a treat each morning leading up to holidays/christmas doesn't seem like that much to me.

          considering the kids come with a few mini figs, that also gets used every day by my kids when they free play with lego

    For those counting every cent, these should be $39.20 from tomorrow at Target when 20% kicks in. Target free shipping threshold is $45 as opposed to Myer $49. Might make a difference to someone only wanting one and are in lockdown. Good for those using up FlyBuys dollars too.
