  Hi Paintmate, I have a Dulux Weathershield manual formula for my weatherboards from paint previously purchased. If I supply these codes, are you able to use this to create the same colour/tone to match in this Taubmans All Weather?

  Is it possible to use this to directly paint over old paint on timber (not flaking)?

    Yes it it, please make sure you give it a sand and dust it off prior to painting.

    Can do Colorbond colours for sure.

      Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant can it be paint over old paint without prep (besides a wipe down)?

      When you say sand, are you talking completely sand the old paint off to bare wood?

      Also I didn't mean colorbond colours, I mean can it be used to paint colorbond steel that have existing paint or paint wear on it. Similar to above, without the need to remove old paint?

        Oh ok cool. Yes it will stick to colorbond well. lightly sand with 180grit, dust off and paint over. If it has mould or dirt also wash that off. Same rules over painted wood.
