Someone Selling Telstra MNVO Plans Who Can Create an Invoice?

Hi, my grandmother has a home care package, and I bought her a smartwatch which has fall detection and a button to call me and then 000. Only need 500MB / month and practically no calls except emergencies.

It needs a Telstra SIM card, happy to go month month but prefer a 365 day plan. I am having trouble finding someone selling one for example a Boost SIM, who will send me an invoice, which I can forward to care provider as this is better than me paying cash then asking for rebate.

Or is there an MNVO which will invoice her for a plan directly? I messaged two of the Boost SIM sellers here, but didn't get a response.

Any ideas?

Not sure about your question, but what smartwatch did you get her? Does it take a sim? Only providers that provided esim last I checked were Telstra, Optus or Vodafone. No MNVO. Has that changed?

    • I got the SpaceTalk Life: https://www.spacetalkwatch.com/pages/support-spacetalk-life

For your Spacetalk Life device, select a SIM Card from a network provider(2) listed below.

Choose a pre-paid or post-paid nano-SIM that includes Voice, SMS and approximately 500MB data per month.

Spacetalk Life model SP-L4G-1 is tuned to work on 4G LTE B28A+B & B3 also 3G WCDMA B5.
Use of a SIM Card provider not listed above is not recommended.

(1)Compatible with the Telstra™ 4GX network. Use of a Telstra branded SIM may also provide access to 4G VoLTE calling.

      (2) Spacetalk does not warrant nor guarantee the listed network provider's suitability, provision of service or inclusions.

      • They are recommending Telstra network mostly because that device only has 2 bands, (4G) Band 28 and (3G) band 850mhz

If you go with a provider or MVNO that isn't using 3G 850mhz, you won't get voice services, most mobile phones fall back to 3G for voice and 4G is used mostly for data connection (unless it supports Voice over LTE)

        • Correct and they provide a list of who you can buy a SIM from that works with the phone.

What rebate are you talking about?

    • As in OP doesn't want to pay for it and then get reimbursed. Would prefer to skip the middle man and get the care provider to pay for it directly

        reimbursed

        From who?

  • Telcos not require to provide tax invoice for prepaid plans .

When I was with Boost, their online chat created customised tax invoice for me to claim through work. YMMV today.

  • Could you buy a prepaid voucher from Coles/Woolies (can just use self serve checkout) and use the Coles receipt as your tax invoice?

  • From memory, TeleChoice (https://www.telechoice.com.au/) do invoices. However, you will need to login into the portal to get them
