nice price but the delivery fee kill the deal OP

I mean, $18.45 for 5 packs of this stuff is a great bargain, usually costs $8-9 each.

      • stored too much instant noodles already lol

        • Me too, I've got more shin ramyun than I know what to do with 😆

      • +1

Yeah when they say limit of 5 per order it's just 1 packet 5 noodles…

    • +1

Agree with this, at $8 for a 5 pack from Woolies you would be better to mark this as [VIC] pickup only.

      • +1

        Exactly. No deal

  • +3

    Also near expired

      Best before. She'll be right.

      • +6

This, I've had prunes that have sat in my cupboard that are at least 6 months past the best before and they still taste fine.

What are they gonna do? Make me go to the toilet even MORE?

  • This any good? better than Indomi?

    • +6

They're great but only if you're chasing something quite spicy. The 1x spicy pack is my go to for a snack but the 2-3x spicy are above my comfort zone for a packet noodle.

Also, if anyone's curious here's the scoville ratings:
      1x Spicy - 8,000
      2 x Spicy - 10,000
      3 x spicy - 13,000

      • +1

At this heat level you will feel the spice, twice

      • +1

It's only spicy if it comes out spicy. And boy do 2x and 3x come out spicy!

      • Feels hotter than 13k

        • Honestly not wrong. 13k sounds pretty tame but these are not to be underestimated.

tried to order 5 packs, can't ship to nsw, what kind of courier can't ship 5 packs of instant ramen…

    • +4

There is a missing word in translation. Its actual product name is Samyang 'nuclear' spicy chicken ramen. Look at the package and the one word emphasized with red and yellow colour.. No ordinary courier companies are capable of delivering those stuff with 'nuclear' as I know.

I had the same issue during their last post with their Kimchi ramen post. There's performance issue with their website as well as functionality issues. They couldn't ship anything to NSW either. They insisted the error was on my part. I only had Ramen and spices in powder form, so nothing was perishable. I even took all the items out of my basket one by one, but they still couldn't ship the 1 x 5 Ramen item left in the basket. Truly disappointing.

  • is this the hottest packet?

  • Do people actually enjoy this form of torture?

    • +6

      Yes

    • +6

      YES 100%

    • +3

      Yes, legal high haha

    • +1

Yes. Though usually followed by a moment of regret. But for whatever reason would still come back for more

Bought cheap Korean noodle deal from Amazon AU, received the noodles with 1 month expiry date - buyer beware!

  • +1

any bog roll and milk bargains to pair?

  • Thank you! Got 3x and some other things (sucked me in!) and chose pickup because it’s within 10km of my home :)

    • 3x says Sold Out now unfortunately

      • +1

Oh whoops I should have been more clear. I got 3 packets of the 2x spice.

        • Oh haha, okay yeh it often gets confusing when buying these online because of that. How did you add more than one to your cart though? because doesn't seem to work for me (or is it cos you were able to choose pickup first or something?)

          • +1

@Popid: I just added them to my cart individually. Pressed add to cart 3 times. On safari mobile if that helps.

Edit: looks like it was changed to 1 per order after I already purchased

  • +3

It won't let me add more than one pack to the cart, so ie the '5 max limit' means actually one pack (ie five individual noodle packs)? Which yeh means the deal is basically no good for anyone more than ten ks away (and thus can't pick up) unfortunately.. edit: well unless you plan to order other stuff too I guess

Website is buggy, searched something and it shows on dropdown but not all results.

  • Tried this and not spicy enough for my liking.

  • doesnt ship to nsw even though its australia metro wide

  • -3

The deal is a killer BS.

  • +1

"Ooh this is spicy" or "Need. Milk. NOW."?

    • +3

when koreans say spicy, they aren’t ****ing around

    • +1

If you aren't someone who specifically enjoys spicy food then you will probably want milk for sure (or not be able to finish them). These are spicy enough that people do challenges for them on youtube. I personally found it quite hot and I do love spicy food, but I was still able to eat the entire thing. I do find that the flavour of the regular version is better, I wouldn't choose these over the 1x because the heat kind of takes over the flavour so you're really only eating them for the heat.

    • +1

Milk for now and Imodium for the later 😅

Just went to store as it’s few minutes down the road, none on the shelf, asked the girl working there and they don’t have any left. Save yourself the trip if you live nearby.

  • +2

Never responded to why they stopped offering free delivery for $50 min spend. Bait and switch for joining as members.

  • +4

    Always posting expiring products

  • While these are spicy they don't have any actual taste, just spicy black sludge.
