Anyone get today's daily deal which was a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer? I tried to submit my payment at 12:04 and was sold out.
Is it a matter of how quickly you hit the "buy now" button or how quickly you complete the whole checkout process that determines whether you might be successful or not?
Same. Got one (I think). Got the confirmation message but waiting for email. Clicked buy as soon as it appeared and madly typed in the details to complete checkout in case its still available until completed. Very excited though!!!!

Still waiting unfortunately. The T&C's said "The product is only guaranteed for purchase once a confirmation message of the purchase has come up after the payment page, and/or an email confirmation of purchase has been received". I've got a confirmation number/page which I printed off, so if I don't get it I'll be very peeved to say the least. There were 40 of them available by the way.
I've decided to e-mail them anyways. This suspense is killing me :(

I got one! and immediately received an email form them with subject matter "order confirmation". However, the confirmation email only show the order number with no details regarding the purchase, i.e cost, item description etc.
Finally got a reply from them and confirmed my order has been processed. Will take up to 28 days to dispatch though…
I just got a response from them as well:
"I am pleased that you managed to purchase one. They were all sold within 75 seconds! I can confirm that your name is on the list, sorry you didn’t receive a confirmation email. They will start to be dispatched this today so you should receive it by the end of the week. If you still haven’t received it after 28 days please let us know."
So I should be getting it soon. Whohoo!

Olympus Digital E-PM1 Twin Lens Kit on offer today. Managed to order one of these today but have no idea how good they are. Anyway now will have a new camera to go with the new Panasonic Video camera.

Looks good on paper and the reviews haven' been bad either. If its similar to the Nikon J or V1 then it's actually quite decent.

Flick them an e-mail with your name and confirmation number. I had to chase them up with my 2 orders so far but to their credit, they're fairly responsive in replying.
i got the mothercare card in the mail today, yes no details about tracking or postage, surprised in this day and age, especially from amex, but as long as i got it!
It's not actually processed by Amex themselves but outsourced to a 3rd party much like HP outsourced their cashback/VISA debit card promo's. They're somewhat notorious for not providing decent level of customer service.

Can't expect much from Amex these days, I've got one of their Platinum Chargecard and even the so called consultant just read off the script or google for stuff when you ask for them. Let's not get into how they handle restaurant bookings or bonus points promotions…..

Didn't bother with them. It's already the 20th today and knowing the tickets will expire in 10 days time, well it's hard to plan ahead if you haven't got the tickets handy.
from memory, aren't the tickets valid for another year?? Don't have the ones from the last deal handy but I'm failry sure its 2013.
The expiry date is on 30 March 2013, not 2012. so it's expire next year : )

When I looked at gold class prices on the Village website the tickets came up at $20. So where did AMEX get $39 from?
Yeah, no doubt. I'm glad I got the Nespresso last week and the very first round of Gold Class tickets. Now that everyone's caught on to this site, it's only going to get a lot harder to get these deals.
