We bought these before and the quality is horrible - they are really hard to piece together yet dont stick properly - constantly falling apart. Wouldnt want it even if it was free, it's that bad.

100% agree just received this from Amazon. Absolute junk. Furthermore all packaging labelled FSC sustainable etc. then blocks are in a plastic bag with moisture pack. Don’t waste your money.

It's hard to imagine how this could work, it doesn't look good either.
I've made toys using wood as a base and glueing Duplo/Lego sheets to it.
You can make good size toys (trains, ships, aeroplane, trains, helicopter, castle) for cheap that way.
Are these better or worse than plastic duplo for my dog to inevitability chew on?
