  • Pen and Paper! :)

Epson, HP, or the likes inkjet. Or Brother Laser.
Sub $300, they are all pretty much of a muchness.. Just head to Officeworks and grab something.
Or wait for a deal to come up in OzB!

Anything brother laser because you can buy the cartridges on ebay for like 15 bux and you get a redic large # of pages. Other than that they are reliable and cheap.

Stay away from HP. They force you to use an account now or its a brick.

  • Go for a mono laser MFP.
Choose one thats has cheap aftermarket refills.
With low use inkjets will block up plus the inks are usually expensive for what you can get out of them.

  • Brother /thread

  • Oh brother

  • I always like my Canons Injets & I still have my ageing MG6860 going strong after I cleaned out the nozzles last year
I get refillable cartridges from Inkbank.com.au & then buy the inks from them & refill as needed. They have chip resetters if needed & they also have refillable cartridges for other brands as well

  • Of you are looking for laser color they are a bit pricey. I have a brother mono laser MFCL2713DW for $238 at office work and I am very happy with it.

  • Cheer s thanks for the great feedback, think will avoid HP definitely, , currently have one, wireless doesn't seem to respond anymore to it and seems a POA,tho that could be down to not being regular used also
