Hi, just here to get some thoughts and opinions.

Looking to purchase an iphone 11 pro Max secondhand

What price point is reasonable for a used 11 pro max 64gb with 90% or more battery health?
Or is it worth etc?

Anything at all appreciated

Based on Ozbargain forums, I see a 50% chance of a follow up post in the next few months of being swindled out of money on a second hand iPhone deal gone bad.

There's a danger of it being iCloud locked or later having its IMEI blocked if the owner tells their insurance company or phone company it was stolen to get a pay out. When you pick it up there are ways to make sure it has been disconnected from an apple account so it can't be iCloud locked later, but I don't think there's anything you can do to prevent its IMEI being blocked later.

I like to use eBay to research past sale prices on things.
Do a search for what you're after, then filter (on the side bar if on desktop) to "show only sold items" (itll auto select completed items too).
For example here is a search link for sold used iPhone 11 Pro Max 64gb ordered by most recently sold.

Now keep in mind it will also catch broken/cracked/dead phones so you still need to look at each item. I can see 2 sold recently advertised as "Near 100% battery" for $879 and $710, so that's a good starting place.
