    Waaay too much work.

Also not sure what these comp creators don’t understand about Gleam being a lottery platform.

How can you have it both ways and also choose a winner?

Doesn’t seem right or legal to me.

    • There's been several gleam comps where it's been words or less and not lucky draw. Gleam is just the platform used.

Yeh that’s what I’m getting at, Gleam is a lottery platform so choosing a winner seems at the very least not in good faith and at the worst downright illegal.

Like imagine if they chose the numbers for lotto cos they liked them the most instead of the ball machine random method which is used.

Extreme example I know but you see the point I’m trying to make here…

        • I can see what you're getting at but it's just the platform used for hosting a competition. There's info on the gleam website about drawing manual winners.

You can also draw manual winners if your competition doesn't involve any element of randomness. This is perfect for game of skill competitions that we see regularly in Australia.

@Phalaxis: Interesting, competition creators sure do take the “if your competition doesn’t involve any element of randomness” part very lightly huh.

Why have any other methods of entry other than the words or less entry if it’s not to add more tickets to the lottery?

            Hmmmmmmmmmm………

I’m thinking there’s some serious loophole exploiting going on here.

            • @HeelTaker: Yeah I agree the ones that have multiple entries but winner is judged seems a bit silly. Just have the one entry if its judged as all the extra entries are pointless.
