  • Still haven't received my order from last time, just FYI I think they are still having some issues stock

    • No stock issues, all orders for Base Camp Duffles were subject to a delay on shipping due to waiting for stock to arrive. Not a bad trade off due to the savings. Almost all orders have shipped, if yours hasn't, please reach out via live chat.

AusPost shipping will probably be delayed due to covid.

  • Shipped out really fast from the last deal but Aus Post delays

    • You potentially got one of the BCD that were in stock at the time, whilst most were out of stock with stock incoming.

  • I purchased the last deal too (Medium), got shipping notification on Friday, estimated to arrive this week

    • :-)

  • 40% tho :(

      Still a great deal!

  • Can anyone give a size comparison?

If I wanted to do a weekend away would a small be reasonable? Would a medium hold up for a week long trip?

Small fits nicely in the overhead compartment if flying.

I have the M so can only comment on that.
      I find M perfect for a 2-3 day trip. Any longer and I'd want a L to give a bit more room/flexibility.

Only exception would be when you are packing for warm climate trip and don't need to cover all bases with thicker/warmer clothes or more than one pair of shoes etc.

Yea .. I would tend to agree with the above but I am not a lightweight traveller .. I tend to chuck in extra stuff as I dont want to worry about a missed item because I couldn't decide which one to take ..

So for a 2-3 day trip, I would go for the M .. for a week trip, i would still go for the M but maybe an L .. but if there is any carrying involved, then there is no way I am taking L .. even M will be a hassle to carry.

But I think most travellers could easily drop down a size from this .. lining up more to my post below.

I have three sizes XS, M and L to provide the following feedback …

XS .. can use like a backpack without looking overly huge .. if a summery trip and you are light with toiletries, then it could be possible for a week.

S .. nice compromise, if you just an extra jumper and jeans .. plus the usual extras and want to travel on the lighter side.

M .. if you need a few pairs of jeans and jumpers .. and would rather take a few extras of everything and don't care too much about the weight & size.

L .. x1 heavy jumper, x2 light jumpers, x2 pairs of jeans .. and the usual x3 t-shirts, x2 shorts and extra socks, jocks and large toiletry bag.

But the L is a pain to carry as it too heavy (and even the M is a hassle to carry for too long) .. would much prefer a wheeled duffel (unless of course, I am attempting my next Everest summit).

Something like this is better …

You should get an easy 10-20 years of use from this bag.

  • Price beat at anaconda and get an extra 10%, it will be the same price as the last promo.
