      I was being ironic here. I love my crocs but they don’t go outside my house. Even for an ugly shoe these take the biscuit.

    I wear sandals rather than thongs. The problem is getting decent women’s sandals you can do serious walking in.

        Thanks, but I don’t like the enclosed toes. I’ve managed to snaffle a few sandals from overseas travel, and Montfords, but it seems to be getting harder to get them. Geox used to be reliable but they’ve gone more “strappy” I Like a bit of padding under the straps to stop rubbing. Guys sandals are much more suitable but I’m a ladies 7 so they don’t get down to my size. I buy what I can when I see them.

          @try2bhelpful: Fair enough. I thought the enclosed toes would be bad, but in reality has save many stubbed toes.

            @Supercool: I do have a pair of the Keens, I might drag them out again and have another go. Once we are back up and running you might want to look into Escape2. They have some decent discounts on their shoes and it is worth looking in their samples bin if you are the right size.
