ZOTAC GAMING RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC LHR Graphics Card $1399 + Delivery @ PLE Computers

161

If you need a new GPU then this is the best price around at the moment.
Unfortunately over the past month prices have increased again, and relief anytime soon looks very unlikely coming into the Christmas period.
Scorptec is selling this same card for $1699.

This card brand is the pits and at this price I wouldn't touch it. Probably why it's been in stock in the past couple of days.

      what's wrong with zotac?

    • +1

I think this dual fan design is quite noisy and doesn't maintain temperatures as well as the triple fan cards.

      • +1

Shorter but taller form factor with 2 fans so it's noisier. Temps around the same but may want to have more cooling. This model is OverClocked so it runs slightly faster.

youre such a loser for attacking zotac brand in general. zotac has been around just as long as other top tier brand

    • Lol😂

  • LHR seems to be able to mine 100% now, so I expect prices to remain high or be higher.

    • I thought only 70% and with higher overcloking required than non LHR .

      • +1

New update allows for the card to mine one coin at 70% and another coin at 30%, so technically 100%, but with the drawback of higher energy use and heat. I might be wrong though, this is just what I read online

    • This update means that LHR cards will be working in a more stressing load with higher temperature and louder fan noise. Not a good signal for second hand market.

I have a RX6800 mining while not gaming and the VRAM temperature never goes above 75c which is not as hot as those RTX series reaching 100c.

I think only 3080, 3080ti and 3090 have vram temp reading anyway. Some 3070 that have vram temp reading can report as low as 60c

  • Showing $1349 for me

  • Cant image the MSRP is $809

    • yeah i might just buy a founders edition card for MSRP

      ….. oh wait.

edit: EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra 8GB FHR sold on the second hand forums I keep an eye on. It sold 2 minutes after being listed for $1600 with two other buyers offering themselves as backup within the first 50 minutes.

      • damn those crypto miners are so crazy

  • Bruh, its been at that price for months already.

Good for mining RavenCoin, not affected by LHR.

    Not a good price, IMO.

so where is a good price of this card

    • -2

I'm not in a hodl party, this price should be lower to call a real deal.

  • I really had to convince myself to buy this when I got it for $879 last year.

The card is fine and runs without a problem and even the temps are reasonable - but as others have stated it can get very loud. Not such a problem for me as it is not too bad when gaming, mining on the other hand can hear it downstairs.

    • Have you tried undervolting it? It is still a little loud but not jet engine loud after undervolting for me.
