Anyone found these are too salty?

    • +2

That's the problem with most chips and also french fries not sure why they can't keep the salt in moderation.

    • +4

      No. Perfect.

    • +4

Only about 3/4 the way through a pack..

    • Not really for me, no, I find them as salty as other brands. But they don't have the best texture and aren't the most crunchy compared to other potato chips (like ones from Tyrells for example).

    • Sometimes.

    • +1

      yes but addictive

      salt is addictive. :O

    • More salty than Pringle’s - taste wise

    • Recently I think. So a few months back they were fine

    • +1

I usually put some freshly ground black pepper to round out the saltiness.

      • Which brand do you like to buy from the supermarket?

Been looking for some good fresh ground pepper.

I bought some maharaj or Indian brand in bulk and it ended up tasting a bit too coarse and bitter like dirt not what you usually find in restaurants.

        • Masterfood is my brand of choice with the inbuilt grinder. I've also used Coles black pepper in my own grinder with decent results.

@t25: Which grinder do you recommend I need to invest in one.

            • @AlienC: I've got a Peugeot grinder, known to be a rather premium grinder.

      • The Natural Chip Co. also has a sea salt and cracked pepper flavour that I normally really like. Last pack I had tasted like it had a lot of green potato in it but I'd still recommend the flavour and I'll give your method a go

Your spot on iv never followed dan so I’m free but I’m going country vic when we hit 2000 for a hug bbq with mates

Sure, let's open up before the under 40s have an opportunity to get their second dose because some uneducated nitwit wants to turn 2,000 daily cases into 20,000 daily cases.

I’ve couldn’t be that lucky over a cold

    • +2

I couldn’t see the reason to celebrate, especially some people lost their lives

Great price, but only Plain - by name and nature…

Presumably for those who find the flavour of salt and vinegar to be too overpowering of the exuberant deliciousness of potato…

    • +3

just add some chilli powder to the bag and give it good shake

        You sir, are a thinker.

        I thank you.

        • Reading this comment made me think of shaker fries from mcdonalds.. and now I want some.

  • Thx OP

  • +2

Mmm, salt/original is the best flavour!

Missed out. Great price and Plain are my favourite although not helping the Gut reduction

  • So healthy

  • So glad I did not see this before Expired. saved me a lot of explaining with the wife and I didn't need any more excess weight!

These are short dated, 21 Nov

    • Thats over a month away. 1 packs in my household wouldnt last that long anyway

    • Yes, mine are 28th November, no way I would have purchased 12 packs, (I feel 3 months would have been reasonable) if I knew they had to be used by then and that's what I told amazon on chat and they gave me a full refund.

      • I will do the same. Just arrived today and do not taste totally fresh to me..
