Just be careful with them, because the head band can snap quite easily.
I'd also give the aurvana live's a look. For the $70 I paid for them they're great!
Yeah from what I surmise now after having mine for about a year the plastic they use is not that tough or quite brittle. Cos at first I wondered what all the negative feedback about the headband was about since I didn't have any issues with the quality. But yeah, now the metal strip which extends and is used to adjust the headband to fit on your head is breaking through the plastic. If I want to keep using it I'm going to have to tape it up! Lol.

This is an insane deal actually, probably worthy of its post.
I bought a pair of these, don't use them a whole lot but my dad loves them for when he flies overseas. I used them quite a bit on the train when I first got them and found the NC pretty reasonable and had no issues with the durability, was just a little bit careful with them.
The live headset, which model Denon are they?
They share the same drivers as the Denon AH-D1001k IIRC

Pretty good pair of headphones. I used them on flights all the time. Bought them at $99 a year ago, and still intact.

I got a pair about a year ago and no issues so far. I used them a bit more at the beginning and now only about once a month on flights. The build quality is decent and so is the NC. I compared them to Bose's and if Bose's NC is 9/10 this would be about 7.5/10.

Nothing wrong with these phones as long as you are careful with them and don't treat them like crap. I've been using mine for 6 months on a regular basis and have had no trouble with the headband - just look after them and keep them in the case when not in use.
I take it that the battery life is not so good. How many alkaline batteries should I take for 2X 20 hour flights?
Im not sure about these ones in particular but I can vouch for the awesomeness of noise cancelation. Wouldn't like to forget mine on a long haul flight can tell you.
