I bought one from the last deal. It's fantastic! :)

Same here, these actually work really well.

      Same! It's great.

    • +3

Same, I honestly didn't think it would work but watched some youtube vids and was surprised.

Now that I own one, I think it's a MUST HAVE.
I've completely restored several jackets and beanies that were ruined by pilling.

Also purchased, definitely worth the small investment

Good for teenagers who think they need to shave?

    • Christmas presents for them

Depends if you wash your teenagers in the washing machine.

    This thing is good.

  • Has anyone received their one from myer? Mine was sent at 16th of August and haven’t received it in ebay. They’re not replying as well after I opened dispute. Been a week now :/

First time stuff is not coming from ebay, especially from Myer

    • Ebay money back guarantee, don't worry.

      • My case is still open without any option to ask ebay to step in though. It’s been more than a week. I think it’s because they’re out of office now (myer)

        • Any update? I'm wondering if Myer eBay will ever return… their "away until" date keeps getting extended. Will find out in a few days if it extends yet again.

          • @MiscOzB: No the thing got longer, eBay told me I'm outside of their money back guarantee (30 days), but that's only because myer keep telling me that they'll contact the shipping provider. Then eBay can't do anything so suggested that I go to consumer affair, so I did. Then consumer affair told me that's it is ebay responsibility to see where my parcel is, so I contacted ebay back and they gave me a voucher with the amount of the order + told me that they put myer on some bad seller list or something (I doubt that'll affect anything)

    • Ordered with Myer in August too. Got it in 2 weeks

    • Mine took a while (don't remember how long exactly but long enough that I forgot about it), I did receive it though.

  • Thanks - I've quite a few bits of clothing that could use a depilling.

Would recommend, purchased from previous deal

The sound of pill removing is extremely satisfying… ❤️

I ordered one. I'm thinking when it arrives I'll alter the address details and just leave it on the bench. My wife won't be able to resist opening it.

Didn't know I needed one but pulled the trigger anyway! Thanks op!

Must buy for OzBargainers. This has saved many a sweater heading for the bin

  • Yeah hell why not, bought one, seems cheap and I'll always have a use for it I believe.

  • If you only need it for a one-off, a new disposable razer will do the trick.

  • I have a blue one from years ago. This model any different?

  • This fabric shaver is not much better than the ones sold in Two Dollars shops. Beware, the seller may have fabricated many Amazon reviews:

    83% of potentially unnatural reviews

    YOU ARE WARNED!!

I have this depiller and also previously had an el cheapo no brand model I picked up somewhere. I almost did not buy the Philips one because of how poor the cheap one was but it iwas a good price so I bit. No regrets. Unlike the two dollar version this one actually works but sometimes you need to go over the same area a few times. A couple of features that the cheap one did not have that I think make a difference are (a) larger holes (b) ability height adjustment (c) sharper blades (d) faster motor. Wish it was rechargable but overall, this WAS way better for me. YMMV.

    • This is quite a bit different from the cheapo ones, the first thing I noticed was how big this was. At least 2 or 3 times bigger than a cheapo, it has a bigger motor with replaceable blades, a larger storage receptacle and a broader shaving face.

Biggest thing I've noticed is with a larger shaving face it has better hole distribution and a broader contact surface, which makes it harder to cut holes in your clothing (it might be possible but I haven't had it happen yet).

It's genuinely effective at what it does, you can scroll up the ozbargainer comments and see many happy customers.

    • And for those reading later and wondering why not to buy a cheapo chinse copy .. it's completely different.
The Philips one feels really solid -

Large blade surface for covering a large area at once

The cheap one my partner had only covers about 1/2 the area and can't really be compared to the Philips one.
Philips one works remarkably better than the cheapo one.
I almost didn't consider this because of how bad the cheap one really is. I wasn't expecting much of this, but turns out it is good.
(The only issue I had is that my first shipment was damaged/lost and the replacement was also lost according to Amazon, but that one did arrive in the end.)

  • My dog is terrified of this item

  • Got it for $17 last week, worth every cent!

  • Got it for $15 - parcel damaged (nothing received) had to contact Amazon to find this out.
Replacement was sent — now it's lost in transit.
This is the 4th parcel that is lost in +- 3 weeks (and another wrong item sent by amazon).

    • The 'lost' parcel (Phillips shaver) just arrived, so I only have 3 lost parcels now. So the 2nd one that was sent did arrive in the end.

  • Mine not long arrived and I already have made great use of it. Doona cover in about 5 minutes. Ripper.

  • Available again.

  • Finally got it, always keep missing this 😅

  • What does it do?

  • Therapeutic

  • can you use this for pubic hair?
