        Yep, right here
        /facepalm

        • Just to confirm/clarify - even though you're NSO subscriber, you can't add to cart for the preorder? i.e. it really is OOS (for now)?

          • +1

@jace88: Correct. It’s OOS so it won’t let me preorder or do anything - even for future stock. I’ll just have to wait until they ‘release’ more.

            • @mboy: Thanks. Saved me from experimenting to find out.

        • Seems to be restocked now

      • I have to admit I was contemplating but decided to wait… I mean I waited over 15 years already lol.

These are uninspiring. Would rather just invest in 4 pro controllers

    • Apples and Oranges.

I mean…these have the Z-Trigger button :D so good for FPS. Ergonomicly one of the best controllers ever.

      • Yeah but we can't play golden eye forever! I don't think it would adapt well to newer switch fps.

        • What about that Doom64 switch remaster?

clearly you have never owned a NES, super nintendo, or a N64, and clearly you don't know what a good Dpad looks like since your talking up a pro controller which ahs a terrriable dpad on it.

      • N64 controller did not have a good anything haha.

        • clearly never owned any of those consoles.

        • I think it was the first controller with "force feedback" after buying the "rumble pack". This predated the "Dual Shock" for the PlayStation. The Z trigger was pretty cool too.

I’d be interested to see if they’ve made the joystick on the N64 controller more durable. Have lots of memories of seeing ground up plastic powder on many controllers. The sticks also lost their springiness over time, moreso than modern controllers. Though given the situation with the Joycon controllers, I won’t hold my breath.

That said, they weren’t that hard to replace.

OVERTLY EXPENSIVE. 80usd for expansion pass wtf how much is that in aud? over 105aud for getting the most ripped off. 107$ for the ability to hire games that is easy to emulate for FREE!. unlike Xbox membership nets you 4 free games a month on TOP of xcloud, game pass, PROPER repairs/warranty, free money thru rewards and other perks just look at that value no competition from these nationalist japanese companies ie nintendo/sony. and just look at these weeb soyboys eating up this junk handed to them what a sad state we humans have come to. tribalism because of what to follow a trend. fyi i own a switch and a playstation.

    • 59.95 is the cost in Australia, FYI.

      • Just to be clear, that's $60/year for NSO with the expansion pack from my read of Press-Start: https://press-start.com.au/news/nintendo/2021/10/16/heres-th…

I don't disagree with you Mirror XT8 on that this being a poor value proposition compared to Game Pass or even the old Gold on Xbox, but Nintendo trades off it's (limited) exclusives both current and historic, and they are milking the nostalgia train for all it's worth. Even though I hate to admit it, it's quite a clever strategy since those teenagers who grew up playing N64 are now in their mid 30's, earning income, and $60/year + the price of the controllers is a cheap price for a trip down memory lane.

        • +1

Yep, just pointing out it’s not 107 dollars. 60 bucks is not good value for how much I use the service, but I’ll still pay it.

Edit: the fact the games can be easily stolen shouldn’t be a point against Nintendo.

ofcourse the N64 controller is gone.

  • -2

also 4 per customer?? ripped off thats why it sold out they should have had it 1 per customer, now you will see these on ebay for high prices because of that.

    • +5

It's 4 because N64 games can be 4-player multiplayer. That's why Sega was maximum of 2. Presumably it links it to your account, which is through a paid subscription. Anyway, I appreciate what you're saying, but I don't think limiting it to less than 4 would have been the right thing to do.
