The Beauty Club - FREE Stila Convertible Lip Colour with All Orders - Members Only

03

The Beauty Club is a new Australian online store that sells pretty much everything that is skincare, makeup and perfumes at cost price!

There is a $165 membership fee, however, I did heaps of research before signing up and I did make my $165 back after my first order (I placed quite a large order). But even if you only place a few small orders, you quickly make it back. With every order that I have placed since, I also continue to receive the free Stila convertible lip colour. The Beauty Club gives 2-3 free products away per year, free samples and you can actually ring them and place an order/ask questions. You also receive replies to emails within a couple of hours. Which is very reassuring when ordering online.

The $165 membership to the beauty club is also a great gift idea. I've given 2 as gifts to friends, and they love that they can buy skincare, makeup and perfumes at cost price. I highly recommend the beauty club to anyone who is a frequent skincare/makeup/perfume buyer, as you won't find cheaper online prices or better service.

  • $165? This site has been lurking around here a couple of times. I think I'll stick to strawberrynet.

    • hey, I'm just putting the site out there for those of us that spend thousands on skincare and makeup a year.

  • I've checked some of the prices and they do seem to be about 10% cheaper than strawberrynet, however, the $165 fee would mean you would need to spend $1650 before you start to save any money. If you spend the same amount of money at strawberrynet, you would've accumulated many purchases and would have also built up your loyalty discount. In the long run, if you have a loyalty discount of 10% at strawberrynet you would be pretty much on par with this mob, plus you get extra 5% off when you purchase 3 or more items which will put the prices below what the beauty club has.

I don't think there's a lot of cost advantage for both the small or large purchasers here.

  • I spent $414 on my first order and have already made back my $165. Where did you get $1650 from? Thats ridiculous!

The price difference between The Beauty Club and Strawberry Net was $166.20. Combined with 3 free gifts per year, with my first free gift valued at $45, I had $196.20 in savings, which more than covered the membership fee of $165.

So maybe you should recalculate that $1650 in spending again!

    • Most products I've checked are about 10% cheaper than Strawberrynet, which is in line with the quote on the beauty club's homepage which mentions a 10-20% saving on strawberrynet prices. The $166.20 would mean a 40% saving from strawberrynet prices which would mean you have to pick only the very underpriced items at the beauty club (which haven't been discounted by strawberrynet) in order to acheive that saving.

My argument is, the normal person is very unlikely to pick from that group and may only pick from items that achieve a 10% discount, which means you would need to spend $1650 before you start seeing any savings. But since strawberrynet has loyalty and quantity discounts, I find that it wouldn't be worth while doing that.

  • Hmmmm Still doesn't make sense that $1650, but ok. I've already made my $165 back, and have not spent anywhere near $1650 yet. Oh and my order consisted of several shampoos and a couple of face creams and some make up, nothing too expensive.

  • lol.. $165 to join and you called this bargain?

    pfftt..

  • I sure do, considering I can either buy a product at Myer for $120 (e.g Chanel foundation) or I can get it for $45. To me, that's a clear bargain. And you should never go cheap on anything you put on your face!:)
