    Hey guys, if you are trying to claim the code and it doesn't work, it's because the code "40GBFORU" being posted here is an old expired code and is no longer valid.

      It was marked as expired before I could order one. These mobs must have got hit hard with influx of orders in the day time and finally found why and commented negatively above. Very poor form!

      You can see how poor the customer service is, the rep didnt clarify anything just said that code is expired.

      Probably may need to pay first month as its post paid.

    So my T&C's I posted earlier were right in regards to the 8th Oct.

  • Just confirming what will happen if we already have ordered a sim (due to arrive tomorrow or Monday) and even asked to port in… I hope my credit card doesn’t get charged without authorisation and my number doesn’t get transferred without honouring the deal.

    So I reached out to circles via online chat. Here's the response I received.

    "I made a follow-up and they advised that the promotion you have used will not be redeemed because ti was originally for the old plans that are no longer available and the promotion was already expired.

    We truly apologize as we had a glitch yesterday. Therefore, we highly suggest to sign up using available promotion with our new plans"

    I received my sim about an hour ago. I'm pretty impressed with that, but I won't be activating it.

    I have just received my SIM and requested for a new number but based on the above sounds like I should leave it and not activate it?

    EDIT - just updated my card details to one that doesn't have balance in the account by going into the manage order page. This company is just lame with their stuff up and lack of helpful response from their rep here.

            We're sorry for the late revert, the promo code you have used was reported in our backend team and confirmed it was an invalid promo used in the 5GB plan.
            As a result, this will not be honored in 5GB plan. You will pay $10 per month for a 5GB plan.

        Chat service confirmed that I won’t be eligible for the offer just yesterday, so I cancelled via chat and did not activate (sim card was already received in the mail)

    The Circles app says i have 25gb a month and the waiver is also applied!
    Will make any updates if i get screwed over lol!

            @berlindut: so apparently ill have to pay like 1.26 for the remaining 3 days of this month and then itll reset again and the waiver gets applied from next month. I activated it today as my current plan im with would reset and charge me other wise.

                @MagicTsukai: Yup thats the plan but from what ive heard, port out a bit early before they charge you!

  • I just activated the sim. Billed me $0.32 for 1 day (31 October 2021->$10/31 days) before plan starts on 1 Nov, includes 25GB data, showing $10 waiver and the promo code that's been applied for November bill which shows $0. You need to download an app to access plan/usage/bill dashboard. Optional automatic payment once you put in your credit card details or they'll send you a bill via email. Takes 10-20 minutes for the activated service email to be received but in reality the sim is activated within 5 minutes. So if you guys want to activate the sim and gets charged $0.32. Today is the last day.

    • Sorry mate, could you please share why today is the last day to activate the sim?

      • Because if you activate it for example on 1 Nov, you will get charged $10. If it's on 2nd Nov, you will need to pay (29/30days)*$10=$9.67 and etc.

        Given you need to activate the sim by 20 Nov the latest as per term and condition(activate within 30 days), you will be paying (30-10+1day)/30*$10= $3.67 for the 1 st month pro-rata.

        • Cheers and certainly interesting ideas.
          I activated mine yesterday (like what you did) and looked at the app last night and I remember seeing something similar to what you got (i.e. $10.33 for the first bill).
          Activated the missus's sim today (1st November) but the app is now only saying that the bill will be sent within the first 10 working days of the month with no dollar value.
          Will share and see if she gets a $10 invoice or whether November will be counted as the 1st free month.

          • @hubs1982: No worries, yeah, the bill for me before it disappeared showed Nov is free plus Dec for $10 paid in advance but also mentioned the waiver may show up a few days later.

      Well, you probably activated the sim on 25 October, 7 days/31 x $10 = $2.26.
