    Been collecting these freebies for years since 2014 including every one of the 2016 Mythical monthly ones. Not sure why, redeem them but never beyond gift box.

    This weekend I'll be trying to figure out how Pokemon Bank & Home work. Only ever played the games on 3DS and Switch during plane travel but keen to pull together everything from Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Ultra Moon and Sword half-played games together and see how far made it into the National Pokedex…

    I miss these guys, got my xbox through them. Our shitty small market couldn't even hold onto an additional game retailer. Hope they return to our shores one day.

      They weren't any cheaper than eb. Eb was more widespread. I dont honestly know why they thought they would succeed.

        You could have said the same thing with Telstra when Optus made its debut. Its our market size thats the issue. Any industry however niche shouldnt be a monopoly. Only pureplay for games is eb. Game should have easily survived.

          I don't agree. Hence bunnings vs masters. We can all find examples to support our point of view, but it's a fundamental that you need to do something different to survive. Optus was cheaper. Your local cafe is local. Etc

        GAME allowed price matching at mid night launches, EB didn't. So I went to GAME a lot more.
        I got BO2 for 79, EB store which had 100 odd people waiting. 99

      You might need to find someone with the shield cartridge willing to swap games for a while, then send to Pokemon Home and transfer to the main account. Happy for someone else to suggest a better way!

      Not the nicest way, but you can take advantage (quite literally, unfortunately) of the EB Games 7-day return thing, whereby you buy Shield, play until you unlock mystery gift, redeem the code, transfer it to Home or Sword (as OP said), and return game for refund :/

      One of mine worked. Tried the other and got the same error. Either one code per game or you get the opposite one to your game. E.g. I have shield so I can only get Zacian

          Just used the code in my son's saved game and it worked.
          The email states "This email contains your download/activation details for SHINY ZAMAZENTA IN Pokémon Sword AND SHINY ZACIAN IN Pokémon Shield."
          So can only use one per game and make sure you are using the correct code for the game

    Received codes just before 4AM Sydney time.

    These codes must be redeemed by 12 February 2022.

    Note there's 2 of them, one for Sword and one for Shield.
