EVER since Combank TOLD ME LIE that i did not activate my AMPOL offer i stopped using my Commbank credit card.
This bank doesnt deserve my money
This bank will do same thing again, you activate and spend money thinking you will get your cashback BUT YOU get NOTHING BACK, they will say random BS like you didn't activate it - in my case.
Honestly thinking of cancelling all of my relationship with this Australia's Worst Bank

I did everything as per the AMPOL cashback offer i got,
i.e. ACTIVATE IT, SPEND $40 @ locations listed on Ampol websites (I spent at Caltex woolworths, because i wanted to spend there, and it was on that website of specific Ampol locations) Got charged $40 + on my card from EG Group XXXX XXX SA.Called the 132221 number (2 days after spending money), asked for their general banking team, lady over Phone kept saying I wont be getting the offer because
1. I did not activate the offer (BULSH*T FALSE LIE)
2. Combank did not hear that Combank rewards was having issues that day (I AM SURE after i activated the offer it said now i just need to spend money, BUT AT THE SAME TIME it did not go onto the Active Offers tab (instead remained in the Available offers tab)). (BTW I have screenshot of that Reward activated page it shows after activating the offer )I told her clearly I had activated offer like 3 or 4 times (in the app) before spending $40+ from my card. SHE CONSTALY denied and told me Combank wont honor it.
I Had already been sick of this BANK's Call waiting times, and now this. After the call Deleted the Combank Rewards, (opted out of it), with no future plans of staying with this bank

Does the '$40 spend' refer to the subtotal at menulog or does it refer to the amount that we got charged with on our commbank account? and can I purchase it using a paypal account that is linked to commbank or do we have to use commbank card directly?
When American express has these types of offers you cannot use 3rd party payment method so so Paypal.

I think that it would be the amount charged on your comp bank account because this is what they see. Otherwise, every person claiming this deal would have to communicate with comp bank to prove any additional spend. Not practical.
Did anyone order at another restaurant through Menulog and still got the credit?
How are they able to tell that you’re dining on rooster ? Would this not work for all Menulog transactions ?
