The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is currently on sale, at a price of $18.13. This one was released in 2016, the kinda remastered version (graphics-wise) of the OG version released in 2011. Still currently playing Oblivion, haven't played a whole bunch of Skyrim yet. Sale ends soon.

  I'm currently modding Skyrim SE (adding mods to it, and customizing some of them). Lexy's guide is a good place to start, but is a little barren in some areas (no housing mods for instance, few clothing adding mods, few largescale town alterers), and some of the choces might be too hardcore or too divergent for a first playthrough (eg Wildcat combat, Morroloot "Omega", Experience). You could just install remeshes, retextures, sound fx replacements and fixes if you want a close to vanilla game with a more modern aesthetic quality.
