  • Is this the same one that ALDI sells? I use them for commuting and work okay

    • +2

Don't know about Aldi but they're the same ones you can get from AliExpress for $5ish.

  • +7

I have to vote negative :
    - these are exactly the same as Aldi ones
    - this is not a good price for it
    - this is not a good price for the quality of these lamps
    - on Aliexpress 5$
    - I had 2 sets of these lamps, and the charging connector failed on 2 of the lamps after a few months only, making them unable to recharge. So basically they are garbage after less than 4 months.

Only pro is that it is quite powerful, and the battery life is around 2h30 in Pulse mode.

100% agree with the above on every point. Have purchased both the Aldi lights and Aliexpress, both have quality issues. Buy a Rockbros light by spending a bit more and have something that is higher quality and will last.

    • +2

Not surprised at all. Amazon has massive quality issues. It seems like their whole business model is to sell crap that don’t last for a week and price gouging for it too. They just keep selling garbage with free delivery flooding the post and couriers for nothing. Literally a waste of resources on every level

so whats the recommended cheap lamps?

  • I paid $24 for these over a year ago. I am very happy with them even if I could have got them from ali/aldi for $5 (shipping time etc). They are bright, hold a solid charge and are very easy to use and remove (so they dont get stolen). Only thing is Micro usb which is slowly going away. If you need them quickly I'd go these. Second set, go for ali.

  • This isn't a bargain. Normal price on Aliexpress is = US$8.81 + GST delivered (~AU$13.00)
Pretending they are $20.98 then providing a code for a fake discount is misleading. Say no to Spamazon.

NEVER waste money on batteries again.

    Do these batteries last forever?

    • +3

      Do these batteries last forever?

Yes because the charging point will fail before the battery does, so the battery will last forever.
