Please dont edit this from $10, as it is $25 from the previous deal and in the text message I received from Spot.

    • The current offer is $10.

The offer from the last deal for pre-registering was $25.

As it has now launched, you can't get the pre-register deal. You got a text and email because you signed up for it.

Great news, because you pre-registered, you could score yourself a $25 eGift Card.~ All you need to do is apply by 15 January 2022 and spend $50 or more within the first
30 days from approval.~ Then take your pick of a $25 eGift Card from JB Hi-Fi, Myer or Amazon Australia.

      and also from today's email

      ~T&Cs Apply:
To be eligible to receive a $25 eGift Card, you must pre-register by 22 September 2021; apply for Spot. Buy Now, Pay Later by 15 January 2022; and then spend $50 or more in one transaction in the first 30 days from Account approval.

      • Apologies then, I didn't get the email until now.

  • Hold a personal Australian Bank account of which you’re the sole owner. The bank account must be enabled to receive an instant credit for verification. A list of financial institutions is listed here. Banks such as Macquarie bank, Ubank, RACQ and some Credit Unions cannot currently be linked.

Here’s a bit more info on payments

Each transaction on your account will be a pay-in-4 transaction unless you convert it into a pay-in-8 transaction for a $10 fee. This means the transaction amount will be split over 4 fortnightly payments.

You must make payments to us in Australian dollars and by direct debit from your nominated account. You must also ensure you have sufficient funds in your nominated account.

You must pay us the scheduled payment amounts for each transaction on the due date. Your first payment date will be the business day after your purchase (or shortly thereafter) once we receive the transaction from the merchant. Each subsequent payment will be due approximately fortnightly after that. Weekends and public holidays may affect when a payment is due.
You can use the Citi Mobile® App to modify your nominated direct debit account and view the due dates of upcoming payments.

  • Has anyone been able to activate the card?

I'm supposed to download the citimobile app. But then what?

If you're a Citibank customer (already have an account with them), just log in with your credentials.

If you're new to them, just create an account. Then you should be able to login and see your Spot account/be able to activate it within the app.

      Good luck!

  • I pre-registered for Spot on August 5th, got sent various emails, with the last one being in September titled "Don't let them miss out", to share the $25 offer with others, but nothing since. No signup email or SMS. Nothing to tell me Spot is live.

I signed up a couple of days ago anyways… hopefully i'll at least get the $10 eGift card, and aim to spend $100 at JB to get the $25, so hopefully that pans out.

Even during the sign-up, it's a bit misleading. They claim to give you a $10 eGift card just for signing up with no mention of any spend, just activating your account within 2 days of signing up. I haven't received any emails suggesting I need to make any spend to get the $10 either… just the Welcome email, and emails to tell me Touch ID/Apple Pay has been set up:o/

  • I bought few things from jbhifi with total amount $110 on 17 Oct with spot, do I qualify to claim gift card? I had no idea about this promotion and have no pre registration.

    • You should get $25. The below comes from an email JB sent me, here's the link to all the T&C's… https://support.jbhifi.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/440584987355…

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive a $25 JB Hi-Fi eGift Card, you must spend $100 or more in one transaction using your Spot. Buy Now, Pay Later account at JB Hi-Fi between 1 October 2021 and 30 November 2021. Refunds, chargebacks and Spot. Buy Now, Pay Later special promotions do not contribute to the spend criteria. This offer is limited to one eGift Card per Spot. Buy Now, Pay Later account. Your Spot. Buy Now, Pay Later account must remain open and in good standing to receive the $25 eGift Card.

  • Yeah right, apply for the account via Citi, but rejected.

  • So with spot, can you apply the $25 gift card to what you are buying or is it only for use on your next purchase.

I want to buy an Apple Pencil so I could technically get it down to 165 if I use this?

    • They’re not instant from the T&Cs, up to 28 days later to receive.

  • note you can only add it to your ditigal wallet on samsung pay or apple pay not google. can some one confirm if you tap and pay and buy a jbhi fi $100 gift card did you received the $25 gift card along with this $10 and the preregistering $25 offer?

I messaged a rep and got them to confirm that you can get 2 x $25 vouchers with $100 spend. I suppose the $10 for accepting registration is additional to that.

I had jbhifi $110 bill paid with SPOT on 17/10 (the same date I opened and activated account) but still awaiting for any egift card to arrive. Upon contacting customer service, they said each account is eligible for 1 egift card only and they assess case by case which one you get . Honestly I did not like their customer service as their knowledge about the product is vague. you get different versions each time with different person on the other end.

        • I got my $10 gift card for activating spot just now. Not sure when the other stuff will come through though. And yeah, the customer service seems a bit like copy pasting the stuff we can already see.

I expect the $25 gift cards will come a bit later. Even the purchase itself took a few days just to 'process', so its slower than the usual 'pending' charges on a bank.

          • @ATangk: Yeah .got all cards yesterday via email and text msg. $25 came last after a gap of few hours.

            • @Kansin: Did you get 3 gift cards then?

              • @ATangk: $10 + $10 + $25

                • @Kansin: Nice. I'm assuming you only made one purchase for all of those? I'm still missing one from pre-registration. Only got $10 + $25 so far.

                  • @ATangk: Yup one purchase

                    • @Kansin: My second GC finally came in. $60 in gift cards for $100 purchase isn’t bad :)

  • those who pre-registered, did you get the $25 eGift card i havent yet? how long did you have to wait.?

    • About 2 weeks.

      • thanks got it today
