Really? It’s 2021 people are trying to survive! And they aren’t trying to make anything they are simply supplying a service!
Have had 2 pairs of Adidas specs over the years, a sports pair with rubber joints 20 years ago for footy training and a more fashionable pair recently they were both impeccable. The sports pair took an absolute hiding and never came off second best.
Also fwiw they're not making the lenses, just the frames.
They aren't making anything. They are licensing marcolin group to use their name. Adidas are a brand, not a manufacturer. Like most of the fashion brands, they don't really make anything - it's all either licensed manufacturing or outsourced. That's why quality is so variable.
