2x $9.50 Brokerage Credits for Each of Referrer & Referee @ Pearler

100

Received an email from Pearler:

We know that long-term investing can be boring or even a little lonely, like it’s all on you to stay motivated. What makes it less boring is when you have friends who are investing along side you.

That’s why we’re hooking you up with three easy ways to earn you and your friends double the investment credits till the end of November - making it easier for both of you to invest consistently with ease.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Refer a friend and you both earn 2 credits each
  • Refer a friend who transfers their shares from another platform, and you both earn 5 credits (yes HINs too!)
  • Refer 5+ investors and you get double the credits plus $50 to spend at the Pearler merch store

You can choose to use your credits to pay brokerage fees ($9.50) on your next investment, or to donate your credits to charity: https://pearler.com/organisation

I hear a bit about Pearler in FI community recently but so far have not found any reason to switch to them from selfwealth. Most people mention automation but i am not interested in that, other reason is their free etf but i am not interested in them. I am just buy and hold VDHG guy. Anything i am missing, any other info anyone can share to convince me to move?
Edit- also i heard there was a bit of wait for pearler account being created, is this still the case?

Probably not worth it if you're not interested in the automation or free ETFs.

My Pearler was created in a similar time frame to SelfWealth, I think it was only a day or two.

Personally I switched for the automation, treat it like a superannuation account - set and forget.

  • It's your lucky day @Neda47606 thanks for the random referral button code :)

Not sure about this broker but I'm always interested in checking out the competition.
