3600-3070TI-BF

Hi folks, we did it last year and we're doing it again this year - kicking off Black Friday deals early. Postage across the eastern states doesn't look like clearing so getting in now will give you the chance to avoid the absolute crush the closer we get to this period. Also we're hearing that NVIDIA's allocations for November are maybe half what they were for October - it's fair to expect there will be little downwards pressure on pricing and no improvement in supply the closer we get to end of the year, so no guarantees how long these will last for or whether will still be around in late November.

Build times: There's no build queue at the time of posting so PCs will ship in that 3-5 business days period as per the website - if you're reading this some time after the deal posting date please check the product page listing on the site date for shipping time updates.

Only $57.25 'saving', hardly a bargain. Ryzen 5 3600 is crap.

  • is there any 3060 Ti models with PCIe power sockets in the back of the card (not on top)?

  • +3

I kinda feel the 3600X for $360 is a bit much. An 11400 generally beats it, and can be picked up for much less.

And are we really paying $1500 for a 3070ti?! Have GPUs gone up that much in the last month or so?

Not having a go or anything luke. As always, much <3 😁

    • All good, our buy price on 3600 is extremely low and 5600X not so much, so there is a larger comparative difference we can't do much about.

    • Agree, a 5600X and I would have jumped. so far nothing has come up recently to make me upgrade from my 3rd gen intel, DDR3 system haha (yes I know its a dinosaur)

    • Yikes

      https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/ozbargain

Take reviews from productreview with a bucket of salt, it’s very biased towards negative because when people are satisfied they don’t say anything but when upset they’ll leave negative reviews in as many places as possible

      • +9

Surprised so many complaints about the mods. I've never had an issue with them.

That being said, the most recent review is someone complaining that he couldn't advertise some random crypto, so I assume these muppets don't belong here anyway.

Plus this guy who tried to sell something in the classifieds for profit… ON A BARGAIN WEBSITE

        • +2

The complaints about moderators are probably from those who didn't read the rules and got all mad when their post or comment got deleted
My bet would be from mainly individuals trying to advertise their stuff and got their post/account deleted

The guy trying to scalp on ozbargain is hilarious though

      • sorry but i cant find this on google ..

        • Google TechFast or TechFast Australia - it's our Google reviews

        • yeah I was having trouble too then I found it with the reviews on google maps

I have purchased 2 PC's from Techfast and had no issues with anything, they even let me upgrade one of my orders a week after I purchased it. I would 100% purchase again and heavily recommend Luke and his team.

      • +1

I've also gotten a PC from them in the past and had 0 issues with them.

      • +1

        Likewise, perfect and excellent communication.

      • +1

Yep, 2 pcs ordered here from TechFast.
Would get a 3rd but nah I'm good for now.

    • +2

Just thought of sharing my personal feedback here. I purchased this deal from last week. The order was put in late last Thursday (21st Oct). I got a dispatch notification from AusPost on Monday (25 Oct), and the PC was delivered to me yesterday morning (28 Oct). That's 2 business days of handling time, and 3 business days of transit, from SA to NSW (Greater Sydney). Not bad at all!

To top it off, I'd left a request with my order which required them to ship a couple of additional boxes with my order. Techfast did that without a hitch and for free!(I'm assuming it would have costed them something extra on top, since the extra parcels had separate tracking numbers).

Have always had great experiences with TechFast, buying for myself and for others. You get what you pay for, of course, but unless you're after very specific components, they're as good as pre-built will ever get.

    • +2

Product Review is for angry folk who just want to see the world burn, I'd sooner trust opinions here …. which says alot since voting on OzB these days is more like a popularity contest.

However, I've often asked if we'll see a build without GPU and never had any response so my trust level for the companies advertising on here is almost zero.

  • +4

I WILL NOT BUY THIS FROM LUKE

This is Terrence on Luke's account, allg

Did I miss sometihng, what's with the hate to Luke?

It's a joke reference from this forum post

    Techslow and explosive

    • +1

      another one as TechSecure ;)

  • Yay, not a mini version.
Side note, any plans on releasing the 3070Ti for indivdual purchase?

    • Depends on November shipments, unknown at this stage

    • at time of posting… so, subject to change?
    • This deal might stay up a while. If people read this in mid November and things have changed, the communication needs to be clear that shipping circumstances might have changed.

  • Can we pick up from Adelaide?

    • It's been disabled for a while due to the uncertainly around vaccination statuses etc, plus the fact we're not a retail premise but an assembly facility so not necessarily staffed/setup for it. If we do re-enable it the option will appear at checkout.

  • Any word on when we might see Alder Lake CPU's at retail?

  • +12

No mini GPU = no deal.

    • +2

Came here for the mini GPU comments, was not disappointed.

Need some advice re this and the Intel deal above.
I'm coming from a Ryzen 5 3500x / GeForce GTX 1660 which is still kicking ok from the blackfriday deal 2019.
I'm after a higher end gaming PC that can pull off VR also.

  • +1

Wonderful, nice to see prebuilt prices really start coming down now !!! Lots of these prebuilt deals all of a sudden past few days. Still holding on for more Black Friday deals.

  • there's more coming soon right? 3070ti is a bit too powerful for my needs

    • +2

      Tis the season

      • I am waiting Luke!. Better show us what's in the treasure chest.

    • haha nothing is really too powerful, in the gaming world, only not enough power!

  • +1

!! DONT BUY FROM TECHFAST GUYS !! THEY GAVE ME A 85 mm FAN GPU INSTEAD OF A 90mm ONE GUYS !! TECHFAST IS SHIT !!

    /s

    • Size matters - look at that font.

  • +2

How can we trust that you will give us the parts that we want to resell and not the parts that we order?

    • +3

The above comment is a joke and reference to the current forum topic:
Don't Order from Techfast or Luke at Techfast
I'm suggesting that I'm concerned they will correctly give us the parts that we order instead of the parts we incorrectly expected and want to resell.
Just explaining my dumb little joke because I don't want to be downvoted by anyone not understanding it
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Happy Friday ya filthy animals

Anyone know the best solution for as stable as possible WiFi? I feel like a WiFi card would give the best result, but I'm not sure if upgrading the motherboard to a model with inbuilt WiFi is just as good

    • Stand in front of the router all day long.

      • boss won't let me and boss doesn't like the cord. ive tried a powerline kit but it dcs a lot

    • Start with a good wifi router/modem/mesh then any usb/pcie adapter will seem stable.

      • my usb adapter is tp-link branded and its not so great

        • I've got $10 yumcha branded realtek usb adapters that are as stable as an Asus pcie card with 3 antennas, all on a meraki mesh.

What do you mean by not so great?
          Signal,speed, dropouts?

    • My answer might be a bit late but have you tried adding a PCIe WiFi 5/6 card (one with external antenna)?

      • No i don't have space on the mobo

        • Get a USB WiFi 5 or 6 dongle. If your WiFi AP's range is good then a decent USB dongle should work well. Otherwise get a better WiFi access point/router.

          • @OldSchoolHarry: Honestly it's probably the brick walls in my old house that cause the issues

            • @belongsinforums: Then 2 or 3 APs in Mesh network is your best bet. Some Wireless/Mesh APs even have an Ethernet port to connect to your devices via cable i.e. APs connect to each other wirelessly but have Ethernet port for hardwired devices.

  • I have this combo in my gaming PC that I also edit videos on - fantastic combo, plays everything. I only game in 1080p but have a 240hz monitor and it manages to play everything at high FPS on 1080p. It's also future-proofed in case I choose to upgrade monitor resolution in the future.

  • Any plans for a high end AMD system without GPU?

  • Luke personally kicked my dog and burnt my crops

    • Oh sorry pal. That was me D:

  • Pulled the trigger. Will upgrade GPU next year when prices hopefully get better. Can put this one in another machine.

    Thx OP…

    • Thanks!

  • im gonna hodl and wait for black frriidaayy

  • Idk why people here like Luke/Techfast so much. BPC's builds have better price to performance ratio but they don't get the praise.

  • I bought an i7 desktop last year, only $900. Why the price is doubled or tripled now?

  • Grabbed a 3060ti, best price i could find

  • +1

Can one buy this from TF but just not off Luke? Asking for a friend…

  • Hey Luke, if I upgraded to the 240mm AIO, which AIO is that if I may know?

    • We’re using Deepcool Gammax at the moment

  • any chance we can upgrade the card to 3070ti?

    • It is? Comment meant for another post?

  • Thanks Luke, got this one with a bit of upspecing
