    I tried a jackfruit taco for the first time last week (not from Mad Mex - was homemade). Delicious. Keen to explore more vegan options now.

        The texture is similar to slow cooked pork. Doesn't taste anything like it

        I'm not vegetarian, and the vegan chicken is my go to at mad mex. Good texture + flavour.

          I'm not a vegan and I prefer the V2 burger patties or the Beyond Meat patties at the supermarket over real beef, many of my friends have done the same and they aren't vegans or vegetarians either. This stuff has come a long way.
          Even Grill'd have Beyond Meat burgers and they are downright the bomb!
          I'll definitely have to give this a go at Mad Mex :)

      The vegan menus at most places are pretty great now days. 5-10 years back, vegan food options either tasted bloody weird or was just a plate of rabbit food. Now days it's tough to even tell something's vegan unless you go into it (eating it) knowing prior. Mad Mex is definitely no exception to this.

      Veggie Rancheros Burritos are quite nice even for non-vegan people like myself. Add some corn in there to make it even better.

      Life must be confusing when you need to talk mineral wool or drumsticks in any context. Is it a chicken part, is it ice cream or a woodden stick?

      Also, the word "vegan" is not regulated by any law, and what you're doing is just finding non-existent problems. All the vegos excersised this "smart" argument of yours million times, so just be aware and don't try impressing someone in a real life conversation.

    Did they bump the price by a bit? I got this deal with vegan chicken at the chadstone and paid $13.50 using Liven. Price in the app is $11.50 for this vegan chicken burrito though.
