Apple iPhone 12/Pro/Pro Max/Mini Leather Wallet $39 @ Officeworks

530

If you are looking for an Apple Leather Wallet for a reasonable price, I think this would be appealing to you.

The newer models are $95 but support Find My. If you do not mind missing this feature, and just want a premium built Apple wallet for more than half the price, this would be worth considering.

Currently Black and Saddle Brown is available. Blue is priced at $89.00.

Note - This model does not support Find My

WTF is up with this site when you get negged for buying a deal - it's becoming a joke!

      • -8

        must … consume … junk … products

  • Black out of stock. Brown still available. Wish the blue was the same price

EDIT: ended up grabbing a brown, thanks OP!

  • +13

iPhone these days are the wallet to be honest.

    • -7

Even worse because you need to check in everywhere… leaving the phone in the car when going shopping is no longer a 'woops' but a '(profanity) hell now I gotta go back but there was that guy that was sitting in the car next to you who will see you walking back to your car just moments after leaving so he knows you (profanity) up so you gotta just avoid eye contact so that you can grab your phone and get out of there ASAP' kinda moment…

      • +7

Life must be really hard for you.

        • +2

Yes, when you’re affected by such things life is much harder than when you’re not affected by such things!

        • I didn't know you had to be so upset at an anecdote. Just trying to get away from technology sometimes.

          • +2

@ATangk: I wasn't upset but you seem to be. Come to think of it, this is not surprising.

          • @ATangk: If you go back about 100 years you should be able to get away from modern technology.

  • oos now, so keen for the drop of magsafe case drop for iphone 12!

    • -1

      Brown still in stock

      • Nope. Says OOS for me

  • Both OOS

  • +1

Damn- just missed out! I need a new one too…

    • +5

Android's secret is that they don't get updates so they last longer.

  • Hi guys, brown still available, try to change your postcode, 4000 looks available

    • When you enter your address it says not available

  • +5

LOL I am the OP and couldn't even manage to order one haha

    • Oh man that hurts >.<

      • Nevermind! Manage to grab one!

    • Happened to me before, posted a bargain and missed out myself haha

    • Moral of the story: buy before you post

  • I just ordered a brown one - perfect to pair with my new mini. Thx OP!

  • they have non apple brand leather ones for like $10 - $20

    • -1

I got two knockoffs for $15 from aliexpress. But, one is too bent to stay on properly. The other is fine.

  • Damn sold out.. wouldn't mind a brown one to go with my new 13 pro

  • -1

For anyone that missed the deal would recommend they look into what I would say is the superior (and cheaper) MagSafe wallet

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/660371

  • +1

Seems the colour match for the iPhone 13 cases is off :(

  • +1

If you missed out, have a look at the MagSafe stand wallet made by Moft. Secure attachment and the stand functions really come in handy. $40odd from memory.

  • Sigh… hate it when by the time a deal appears on the front page it's already done and dusted.

  • +1

Black: Nerang (QLD) and Mentone (VIC) still showing limited stock.

Brown: Still available in stock online; with in-store stock at Subiaco (WA); Coberg, Epping, and Metone (VIC); North Ryde, Bondi Junction (NSW).

    • Cheers manage to grab a brown one!

  • Now I need an iPhone 12…

  • +1

What is the point of this? Like what do you even hold in it assuming you have Apple Pay set up for the iPhone?

    • +4

I hold a credit card, a debit card and a building access card

Apple Pay is no good if you're phone battery dies - which has happened to me many times

Also can't withdraw cash with Apple Pay (not from my bank at least)

      • Actually the building access card is a good idea… can't relate atm due to lockdown…

      • +1

Apple Pay still works if the battery dies for almost all need cases.

        https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/security/sec90cd29d1f/…

Battery banks, MagSafe batteries, wireless charging stations and car charging make your phone dying absolutely impossible.

You can withdraw money with Apple Pay (select Cheque/Savings).

        • Is Apple Pay considered an express card?

        • I often run out of battery at the end of a busy day

And 99% sure none of the banks I use allow ATM withdrawal via Apple Pay (HSBC, Revolut and Bankwest)

        • Also pretty sure transit card is unsupported in Australia yet and you can’t use a credit/debit card as an express card

    • +1

I keep a debit card for those super rare times one is still handy, and my license given my state doesn’t have digital ones yet.

    • +1

Doesn't everyone carry ID? Genuine question.

      • +1

Thats the main reason I have a card holder, my drivers license. I have a $20 note in it though and 3 other cards but really, if my drivers license could be digitized, I probably wouldnt carry anything other than my phone.

      • Not since NSW moved to digital drivers licences

  • Aww man actually liked the brown one. Oos…

If anyone ordered the brown and have a change of mind can let me know

  • OOS. Oh well… At RRP it's too expensive, but at $39 it's not too bad considering the quality leather used.

  • Still able to buy brown from WA

  • I don't get it, what's the difference between this and the $10 silicone case sold on eBay? why should I justify this as bargain and the $10 phone case on eBay as regular price?

    • This isn’t a phone case.

      • ooops, comment on the wrong thread, I was meant to post it here

  • You can buy a sena leather case equivalent for the same price all year round.

    It’s just a sleeve / wallet ?

Assuming these sleeves will also fit the 13 models

    • They will fit. But the colours of the 13 cases aren’t the same as the 12 so won’t match perfectly

  • -4

I am actually shocked people need to buy these lol, you dont' need physical cards any more its all digital even Licences are.

    • +4

Licences are not digital in all states yet, WA are a bit behind unfortunately

    • +1

You clearly have no clue about your country lol.

      • -1

Why would you expect someone from QLD to understand the state of digital licenses in other states? It’s not his fault that we live in such a fragmented country when it comes to this type of stuff. I haven’t carried a wallet for a long time now so I also don’t see the point of these phone wallet things.

        • +1

FYI, QLD doesn't have digital licenses or even digital transport passes.

I guess don't just assume hey. I came from Sydney where I was on digital everything, but if you want to travel, you need to take your physical everything. So unless you never travel interstate, and everything you do does not require loyalty cards/transport cards/fuel cards/banks that support digital payments/ etc etc. Way too much to assume.

          • @onlinepred: I don’t assume anything - I’m just happy I don’t need to carry a wallet anymore in my day2day. In case I do travel, I’m fine to carry my regular wallet. It’s safer as well being cardless, in terms of reduced chances of identify theft/fraud. So I get where kungfuman’s surprise is coming from. Each to their own though. I still see plenty of people carrying big wallets, paying with plastic cards, scanning their physical Rewards card etc while they have a modern smartphone in their other hand.

            • @bozbargain: You are assuming that it's safer or it has reduce chance of identity theft. Many home loan applications for example, require you to scan or send a digital copy of your ID, so you can't get around that. I also carry a usb authenticator in my wallet (very thin) for security, and also my work security card.

There is nothing more secure or safer about having all your eggs in one basket, so that's an assumption on your end right? I use woolies rewards card on my phone, credit cards are registered on there too.

Anyway, I'm glad not carrying a wallet makes you happy for some reason. I can only assume as you are so passionate about it, you also don't carry keys? Anyone in any state can get keyless entry to their house, they can’t get legal identification or transport passes digitally.
