You’re not meant to, always crack bolts with non-ratcheting ends, then ratchet off.
I've never really had good experiences with ratchet spanners working on cars because the heads are always too big and bulky. These would be even worse I'm guessing. Who makes the slimmest ratcheting heads?
If there’s not enough clearance around the nut then use sockets, if there’s not enough clearance on top of the nut then use spanners.
If there’s no clearance both ways then that nut’s not going anywhere.Snap-On. I used to use them to full apart jet engines…
did they go back together afterwards?
