      The first one was a better movie because it didn't make the kids out to be smarter then the adults… The second one was good but felt wrong. especially the ending. The steelbook ART on the first one was awesome..

      This one has boring steel book art.

        I loved it. It's a perfect one as a cinema experience, adds everything it needs to be a compelling "horror adventure" type. Makes me wish I had seen the first in cinema, I thought that one was more by-the-numbers horror, the second had a great arc. Part II made me think of TLoU…

    Super boring movie imho.. I loved the first part but this one felt like I was watching a mediocre version of first part.

    The sequel feels like a 'super-dragged out ending' from the first, which could have been done in a much shorter time or even incorporate most of the story in the first.

    First one is great movie, I rate it much higher than the second.

    Writers of the first movie weren't involved with the sequel which is why so many stupid things happen just to move things along.
