Bauhn 75” 4K Ultra HD Webos Smart TV. ATV75UHDW-0621 - Service Menu Code Required

Hi folks,

I bought this tv a few months back (July 2021) and it blew up on day 61 (unfortunately missed out by 1 day for a refund).

Long story short - they've sent out 2 mainboards and now the TV powers on however I have the display showing a split-screen down the middle that is mirror imaged.

The 3rd party service tech said that he needed to get into the service menu but all of the service menu codes are not allowing me to get into the so code service menu - the manual doesn't provide any info either.

Tempo (the warranty agents behind Bauhn) have not been able to pass along the code either and have offered a refund (no replacement or upgrade)

Seeking help if anyone can assist with the service menu code? Would hate to go through getting the refund and buying a different brand if I can help it.

    Take the refund and go shopping….
    If its that much of a lemon, I'd be happy to get rid of it

      Thanks for that, the remote i have doesn't have a "menu" button any ideas? I know it's an LG panel though

        So how do you do a DTV channel scan as this requires access to the menu on all of the TV's i have seen.

        I have the same TV, but bought in 2020
        My controller has a menu button near the up/down/left/right buttons, though I tried a few of the combos and didn't get anywhere with them

    Why are you dealing with Tempo? Australian legislation specifies that the retailer (Aldi) has responsibility for warranty claims. I believe that satisfaction of the claim can be your choice of a repair or replacement for a major problem. If they don't have the exact model available then they have to offer you something with similar features. Can anyone confirm my thoughts. Aldi will try and flick you on to the service people but Aldi still have the responsibility.

    This is why you don't by a cheapo TV in the first place and people always get sucked in to supposively cheap items but not actually cheap when you have to go through this
